Welcome to Stepping Stones Lodge at Stepping Stones Farm & Event Center. Our lodge is a beautiful, clean log cabin with rustic charm on a working farm! Features include a Great Room with cathedral ceiling and huge fieldstone fireplace with 10 bedrooms for 24. Enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, Game Room, Library, Massage Room, porches and outdoor grill. Sit around the Fire Circle enjoying stars & S'mores. Enjoy fresh eggs from our hens, visit the farm animals & horses. Strong Wifi service! Our guests have exclusive access to Stepping Stones Lodge which is a beautiful, hand hewn log cabin lodge on an historic working farm. Located in the scenic Monadnock Region of southern NH, we are an easy drive from major New England cities. If you are looking to get away from the hectic pace of city dwelling, we are the destination for you! Let the fresh air of our farm refresh your spirit as we work diligently to fulfill current COVID precautions and restrictions. The Lodge is cozy and inviting. While we may lack some of the modern amenities such as air conditioning, we make up for this by providing a welcoming, inclusive and clean setting for people of all ages! Though the Lodge is peaceful and far from the work place, we do offer strong WiFi which can support multiple people browsing and working at the same time. It allows for moderate streaming. We also have a small flat screen TV for movie watching. Board games, playing cards, DVDs and puzzles are available. Books abound in our Library for your reading pleasure. Explore and find a fun light reading novel, a book about the local lore, or enjoy learning more about farm life and nature. Bring that book to our front porch and sit a spell in a rocking chair enjoying the birds and watching the animals graze nearby. Ten bedrooms are ready to accommodate up to 24 guests. Rooms are arranged with twin bed, queen bed, a Trundle Bed, and two roll away cots to accommodate a variety of group sizes. All beds are outfitted with new mattresses, linens and cozy comforters. Each bedroom offers a sink and has a "Jack and Jill" bathroom which is shared by one other room. The bedrooms look out onto the main room. One bedroom has its own private entrance and bathroom with a bathtub. All linens and towels are provided. Please note: Bedrooms do not have TVs. Our fully stocked kitchen is ready for your exclusive use during your stay. We invite our guests to prepare your own meals or to bring in personal chef for special meals. We will work with you to find that special chef from our extensive list of personally vetted and well known personal chefs. We also will send you information on great local restaurants which abound in the Monadnock Region. Our kitchen is user friendly and well laid out for cooking for a large group. It may not not be used by outside caterers for larger events such as weddings. The Lodge is surrounded by rolling lawns, flower gardens and an herb garden ready for your cooking enjoyment. The Lodge and its surroundings invite you to play lawn games, feel the grass between your toes, sit in the sun, celebrate a special milestone of life, and cherish time with friends and family. Enjoy Volley Ball, Badminton, Corn Hole, Kan Jam, Croquet and Bocce. Best of all, sit around the Fire Circle together, sing songs, tell stories and watch the moon rise. Our local owls may even sing their evening songs for you or our rooster might wake you as the sun rises. There is always plenty to do on the farm in all four seasons!!!! One of the favorite things to do for all our guests has been to come to the barn and meet our family of farm animals. We have a beautiful driving pair of horses for carriage and sleigh rides, a big draft horse, two miniature horses, two miniature donkeys, a family of friendly goats and a flock of laying hens. Each animal has been chosen because they are friendly, love people and really enjoy being visited and patted. Join us to get a feel for life on the farm! The farm is surrounded by many dirt roads which encourage both gentle strolls, longer walks, bike rides and runs. Exercise your body while enjoying being surrounded by the peace of nature! In winter, there are great places to snowshoe and cross country ski right on the farm. In the summer, we invite guests to enjoy our 'Farm' pool (not quite as snazzy as a country club) but surely does cool you off on a hot summer's day. The farm is in Temple which is a beautiful rural and agricultural small town. Our area features a variety of places to stroll, walk, hike and climb. The local communities have many small unique shops and restaurants. For those who want to ski, cross country, snow shoe, bike, dine out or shop, there are many wonderful opportunities within easy driving distance. Let us serve you as "Country Concierge" to help you customize your stay so you can enjoy as much or as little as adventure and activities as you wish. NEW FOR 2022.... We will be offering exciting brand new services to delight our guests. They include the following: *Two 'in house' Chefs who can prepare a special dinner or brunch for you and your guests. *We can provide a grocery shopping service prior to your arrival so the kitchen is stocked to your specification. * Onsite Therapeutic massage services can be scheduled. *Carriage and Sleigh Rides on the property can be scheduled. *For a more hands on experience with our animals, you can book a "Farm Animal Experience" which is an hour long guided visit in our Barnyard with a knowledgeable staff member. *For a more in depth experience with our animals, you can arrange for a "Farm Animal Adventure" which is a 3 hour educational and fun opportunity for guests to truly experience the animals with hands on activities with a knowledgeable staff member. *All services listed above will be provided for an additional fee. *Please note: if you are looking to book your wedding, please call us directly for more information. Weddings will NOT be booked through AirBNB. Plenty of parking and fun things to do in the area! We can help you find lots of great places to eat, shop, visit and explore in the Monadnock Region. Offsite limo transportation is available locally. We live in the area and are able to assist as needed but you will not be interrupted during your stay! We provide a Check In Team Member, a Point of Contact in the event of anything that might be needed, and a Farewell visit to ensure your stay was wonderful. We also provide information about what to do and see in the area as well as a comprehensive listing of recommended partners should you want to compliment your stay with anything from a massage, to music, to a private Chef, to a Paint and Sip and more. The Monadnock Region is a hidden gem with so much to do, ranging from arts and musicians galore, fabulous shopping and dining, rugged hikes, gentle strolls, waterfalls, and unique shops. This beautiful farm is located in a serene and peaceful area of southern New Hampshire. We are close to Boston, Maine, New York and Vermont and can be accessed from Highways 91, 93, 84, and 95, all within a few hours! We are less than an hour from Manchester, Nashua and Keene, NH and just 90 minutes from downtown Boston. Our farm is a quick forty minutes from Manchester Airport and just ninety minutes from Boston Logan Airport. Both airports provide rental car options. Private transportation from either airport can be arranged. This is a beautiful property that has been a working farm for the past 268 years, 56 of which has been in our family!!! We are a third generation on the farm. It has undergone extensive renovations over the last year to make it into a successful rental located on sustainable and environmentally responsible farm. We continue to make improvements to enhance our guests' experience.
