Nicely decorated and comfortable room on the THIRD FLOOR in a newly renovated Victorian home (c. 1890) in historic Baltimore with personal window AC unit. We are minutes away (driving) from St. Agnes, downtown (Ravens Stadium, Orioles Stadium, Horseshoe Casino, ect.), BWI airport, Johns Hopkins Hospital, and many museums and other attractions. Our property is 5 minutes away (driving) from most major highways like 695, 95, and 70, making commuting to D.C., Columbia, and Frederick very convenient. Our home was built in 1890 and was renovated for the first time in 2016. The house is almost 3,000 sq ft and has 3 stories. Therefore, there are projects to complete outside the house. We plan to continue renovating the exterior to finish the look of the vintage house in the summer. Our house was uniquely designed to have both modern and English vintage looks. The room is on the third floor with another bedroom (which is currently rented by a respectful PhD student). We also have security cameras at the property 24/7. There are microwave and fridge (shared by 3 people but we can accommodate) in the kitchen. You are welcome to enjoy the large deck and backyard (approximately 0.5 acre land). Even though you go through a living space outside of the room to use the bathroom, you may not turn on the TV and use that living space. We do not provide heat or AC in that area. The neighborhood is one of the first historical one in Baltimore. I did research on the neighborhood before I bought the house to raise my family for many years. It is relatively safe, quiet most of the time and peaceful. You will see people and kids usually walk comfortably in the neighborhood but they do not hang out and cause trouble. People mind their own business. The neighborhood is next to Catonsville County where there are a lot of boutique shops, local businesses, and major grocery chains. Our property is 5 minutes away from most major highways like 695, 95, and 70. Getting around by car in Baltimore is STRONGLY reccommended and more convenient. However, public transportation like buses are nearby. To get to Penn Station for Amtrak trains, it takes about 20 minutes driving.
