Get away at the River View Cabin! #5

This is the newest cabin in the H&P Cabin family. The RiverView cabin sits very near the north fork of the Ky. River and DOES REQUIRE a four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle. It's at the bottom of a very steep, graveled hill. This cabin has just been completed and sleeps up to 8 persons comfortably. There is a small kitchenette, dorm size refrigerator, 10 cup coffee pot, and a toaster. There is not a cookstove presently. The cabin is very isolated, with the closest cabin being a fourth or half-mile away and separated by trees. You can see the river from the back porch while you're having coffee. There is heat and a/c however no TV or WIFI and limited cell service. The yard is very big, with plenty of room for the kids and dogs to play. There is 3 steps to the porches on both sides plus the stairs so it would not be considered wheelchair accessible. We will meet you and lead you down to the cabin then after that, you will probably not see us again unless you call. We live about 2 miles away in case of an emergency. We are approximately 18 miles from the Red River Gorge area, approximately 10 miles from some of the best rock climbing and hiking areas in the country. Natural Bridge State Park is 16 miles away with many hiking trails available. When you're through with all of that activity, stop by world-famous Miguel's Pizza for a bite to eat or there are several Mom & Pop restaurants near by. You MUST have a four-wheel-drive or a good all-wheel-drive vehicle to access this cabin and for getting around.
