Blue Moon Farm Springhouse

Looking for a comfortable little cottage on a farm in the beautiful Delaware River Valley for a getaway weekend? Blue Moon Farm’s springhouse has it all. Enjoy the pleasures of farm life while making the most of the quaint river towns and activities. Our farm is a small family farm, situated on 17 acres providing just about everything a farm family could want: gardens, pastures, animals, hay fields, woodlands, freshwater springs and outbuildings. It’s a labor of love that we wish to share. The one bedroom, one bath stone cottage has a lovely sitting room as you enter with a wood burning stove. There is a quaint little outside patio area that overlooks the inground pool which is available and open June through August. Your hosts, Jan and Mike, live in the main farmhouse which is in close proximity to the springhouse cottage. We will usually be available in person or by phone. Milford, NJ (5 mi.), Frenchtown, NJ (8 mi.), Riegelsville, PA (8 mi.): The bucolic beauty of the area is so serene, you might think you’ve been transported to the British countryside. Rolling green fields make their way down to lush riverbanks, all perfect for exploring on hikes (Milford Bluffs or Musconetcong Gorge) or bike rides (river tow path). Try tubing in the Delaware River or visiting Alba Vineyard, Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse, Descendants Brewing Company at the Old Ship Inn, Jimmy’s Ice Cream Stand, Frenchtown Inn, Canal House and then there’s Easton, PA (12 mi.) for some of the most exquisite dining experiences. Enjoying a rural setting is fun, but public transportation is at a minimum. You are welcome to bring your animal friendly pets. Our dog, Blue, and our cat, Sylvester are usually off leash and roam the property at times. They like to play with other friendly pets. Also, please note there is a narrow circular staircase that can be difficult to climb and dangerous coming down. It is not suitable for young children, pregnant women or those with physical limitations.
