Cozy Cottage Getaway

Our cozy cottage is located on our property in a small and quiet neighborhood. We do have a country atmosphere given our location. Don't be surprised to see quail wandering in the driveway or in backyard as they scramble to go to their homes in the pine trees. You might also hear the sounds of goats and other smaller farm animals as they do reside not far from us. We are about 10 minutes from the freeway which makes access to Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Nampa, and Caldwell easy. The cottage is about 900 square feet of living space. One bedroom contains a king sized bed and the other a queen sized bed. You can enjoy a meal at the table while gazing out the patio door, or enjoy some quiet on the back porch. Lap blankets are available for snuggling under when the weather gets a little chilly. Kitchen is fully equipped and washer and dryer are also available for use. For those who need to make use of it, there is a shower chair also available. Living room, kitchen and dining area are open concept. Walkers can easily navigate the short hallway and bedrooms. Our neighborhood consists of 8 homes on a private road. Our house is located at the end of the road. Our property is fully landscaped with beautiful variety of trees, bushes and other plants. On our property you find our shop, main house and guest house/cottage. Cottage is on our property so we would be available for questions. Located in a small neighborhood, not far from easy highway access. Town of Middleton includes, coffee shop, grocery store, a tasty bakery and a few restaurants. On Thursdays from 4 -8 there is a Farmers Market located at Piccadilly Park from about May until about Labor Day. Some local food trucks are there all year round on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Across from the park is Kravz ice cream/ soda/ shaved ice shop. Purple Sage Golf course is a quick 4 minute drive from our property. Caldwell is just a quick drive on the freeway, hop off at 10th Ave exit and travel down to Indian Creek Plaza. Once there you will find shops, restaurants, movie theater and various events can be found there through out the year, including Farmers Market, live music, an ice ribbon in winter and Night Lights Parade in December. College of Idaho is about 15 minutes. They are a small private college that is community oriented. We would be happy to host you if you are looking at C of I for your upcoming college student, coming for an Alumni event or visiting a student or taking in one of the performances held throughout the year. Downtown Boise is about 40 to 45 minutes. Once there, some of the things you can experience, include a walk on the Greenbelt, visit the Boise Zoo, Art Museum, Discovery Center and the State History Museum is also nearby. Boise State University, home of the Broncos and " Smurf Turf" is within a short walk or drive downtown area. The Morrison Center provides a variety of excellent shows throughout the year. Venture a little ways out of downtown Boise and you can visit the Birds of Prey Center or visit the Kuna Caves. Take a drive out to the wine trail and explore part of the Snake River Valley. Stop at the Orchard House for a bite to eat before or after wine tasting. (Please call wineries first as many are only doing reservation at this time - July 2021) . Depending on your drive to sample some ;local wines, you might run into some Hops fields. The Treasure Valley enjoys a growing small brewing community. Nearby Colleges: College of Idaho, Northwest Nazarene University, College of Western Idaho, Treasure Valley Community College, Meridian Branch of Idaho State University and Boise State University. Nearby Hospitals include: West Valley, Treasure Valley Hospital, St Lukes and St Alphonsus. We are happy to host traveling nurses. Located off Highway 44 we are a quick drive to several nearby towns and cities. We are also within 40 mins of several colleges, College of Idaho, CWI, Northwest Nazarene. Meridian satellite branch for Idaho State University and Boise State University are just a few. Exploring and going adventuring in the great outdoors, or follow the nearby Sunnyslope Wine Trail that is nestled along the Snake River. You can find 15 wineries and vineyards on the trail. Ste. Chapelle Winery, Bitner Vineyards, and Scoria Winery are just a few to be found on the wine tasting trail. Want to explore some hot springs, go skiing, fishing or day hiking? You are in luck! All can be found within an hour or two drive. Drive a little further and you can be wandering in McCall's charming downtown area or gazing at the Sawtooth Mountain range in Stanley. We are also about 20 minutes from Firebird Raceway ~ they have events happening starting in April into October. There is much to see, explore and taste in our little part of Idaho. ** At this time masks are strongly suggested in some Counties and required in others. For us to do so, we would truly appreciate it if you can follow these house rules and confirm that is has been reviewed WITHIN 48 HOURS OF YOUR BOOKING. This is to ensure that if there is any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you, our guest, will have the option of cancelling the booking penalty free as we have a Strict Cancellation policy. Thank you in advance and truly appreciate your cooperation! – No shoes within the house. – Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. – There shall not be smoking of any kind including but not limited to vaping, tobacco, pot etc inside the home. Extra cleaning fees to remove odor and stains may be applied. – PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied. – PARKING: parking is provided on the driveway beside the guest house. – Please acknowledge that occasionally, we may leave consumables such as condiments or snacks left behind by previous guests if they are not empty. We try our very best to ensure that it is not expired or stale. HOWEVER, ultimately, it is up to the guests’ discretion and inspection to consume these items if they wish. The host does not take any responsibility for the consumables. – Please do not rearrange our furniture. – If you would like to host an event (i.e. wedding, graduation, not party), please speak with us about it first. – If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. – If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY. - Please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
