The Historic Maddox House

The Historic Maddox House is owned by the former president of the South Carolina Bed and Breakfast Association and a retired Air Force Fighter Pilot. Once you arrive and walk up a few steps standing on the wraparound front porch facing historic Madison Main Street your senses will be heightened knowing that this home was built during the Civil War in 1863. We hope you enjoy as much as we do, the original windows, the original trim and the original architecture. Welcome to this piece of history. Guests may use the beautiful relaxing front porch facing historic downtown Madison’s main street. Once guests enter their apartment they will have full access to the entire private apartment. Guests will be able to enter through the front door and immediately go upstairs to their historic apartment living quarters where they will use the access code to acquire the key. The owners of The Historic Maddox House Will be using the front door as well, however they will be entering their own private quarters downstairs. Guests will be directly on historic Madison main street. Walking distance to all festivals, the riverfront, restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, live music and many boutique shops are all in close proximity to this beautiful home. Parking directly on Main Street or Wall Street is allowed. If guests have another couple traveling with them, we have an additional apartment complex contiguous to their private quarters for an additional $75 per night plus a $45 cleaning fee.
