Boasting plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy just outside your door, two bright and cozy bedrooms, one of which is an airy loft with a lake view, a fully stocked kitchen, full bath, laundry room, and tons of comfy seating to relax and enjoy the view from many windows- we guarantee this lake house has something for everyone! A short drive from Watertown, Alexandria Bay, & Fort Drum! Enjoy swimming and floating right off the easily accessible dock, or take a seat on our custom built Adirondack chairs and enjoy an unbeatable view and the unmistakable call of the loons. Catch a glimpse of a playful otter or painted turtle while you’re at it! Grab some kayaks or canoes and a fishing pole or cast right off the dock- the lake is stocked with plenty of fish and is a fisherman’s paradise in all seasons! Or, soak up some sun and the lake breeze just by stepping onto the deck and relaxing in the comfy lounge chairs. The sunny deck also offers a table and chairs which folds and stows for more space, or expands to seat up to six. Take a break from the sun but still enjoy that lake breeze in the shade of the screen porch. This oasis is also the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors at night without the bugs! When night does fall, enjoy a crackling fire in the large fire pit with seating for up to six, and take in the pristine lake view by the light of the moon. If you need a break from the abundant fresh mountain air or the weather isn’t cooperating, get comfy in the living room in one of the cozy egg chairs, or the inviting plush sectional. Gather around the large coffee table for a board game, or chill out and watch a movie on the smart TV set up with several media streaming accounts. There is plenty of space and every appliance and utensil you need to cook restaurant quality meals in the fully stocked kitchen, with plenty of space to store your own groceries and items. Alternatively, a grilling area just outside your door offers a full size gas grill where you can create even more delicious options. Eat your creations out on the deck, or right in the kitchen at the spacious island- with additional seating in the adjacent nook. When you’re ready for some shut eye, take reprieve in the cozy bedroom with blackout curtains, or the airy loft where you can wake up to the sparkling lake right in front of your eyes. If you need some extra sleeping space, a queen sleeper folds out of the sectional couch. All options are complete with queen hypoallergenic memory foam mattresses, several choices of hypoallergenic pillow varieties, 100% cotton sheets, fluffy down alternative comforters, and plenty of extra blankets to make sure your resting hours are as restorative and enjoyable as your waking ones. The full bathroom offers large fluffy towels, and any toiletries you may have forgotten at home, to make sure your needs are met. Should you need to do laundry during your stay, a dedicated laundry room with a washer and dryer is free for your convenience. The house is conveniently accessed with an electronic keypad, to provide guests hassle free security. Guests have exclusive access to the entire house and exterior property, all to themselves. We are available by phone- guests can text or call for any needs or concerns during their stay. Just a short drive from Watertown, Alexandria Bay, and Fort Drum, and conveniently close to Rt 81, yet tucked in a private community on a quiet and peaceful lake- our place is a convenient and comfortable way to enjoy the Adirondacks year round! Moon Lake is a private community full of long time residents who appreciate you being respectful of their peaceful corner of the world- please be courteous guests and treat our little slice of heaven as you would if it was yours. Drive 10mph or less on the road, do not block the street at any time, only park in the designated area, and remember that noise carries incredibly clearly on a body of water, especially at night! Free parking is available at the house for a maximum of three cars. Moon Lake warms up more quickly than the deeper lakes in our area, making it perfect for swimming and boating in the warmer months! It is also chock full of fish, ripe and ready for the catching! In the winter, it’s a popular ice fishing spot due to the abundance of fish and speed at which the shallow lake freezes safely. We are also close to snowmobile trails, fantastic hiking opportunities, and all the abundance the Adirondack region has to offer in every season!
