Centerport bay is safe with calm waters, perfect for kayaking or stand up paddle board. A 5' drive to grocery stores and restaurants in Northport and Huntington. 5' drive to Huntington train station with direct trains to NYC During low tide walks along the beach for miles. Just make sure to check the tide schedule before you leave :). A car is helpful to explore the area, for groceries, theatre and restaurants. 5' car ride to Northport for fabulous bars and restaurants, live theatre, places of worship, public library. Private bay beach w/playground and boat dock within walking distance. Long Island South shore beaches and Fire Island 45' car ride.
