Lake Tenkiller-The Little Cabin

Mountaintop One-Room Cabin, Sleeps 2, above Pettit Bay with incredible views. Enjoy gorgeous views of Lake Tenkiller from this cozy one-room cabin perched on top of Pettit Mountain in NE Oklahoma. We are taking extra precautions with cleaning. This 600 sq. ft. cabin offers everything you’ll need for a relaxing get-away. There is a log-queen bed, full bath, a comfy sofa in front of a rock fireplace with a wood stove insert, and a 37 inch flat-screen TV with DVD/blue-ray player and Dish satellite. We just hooked up new high-speed internet. Bring a streaming device, like Apple TV or Roku. Netflix and Amazon Prime are loaded into the system, but you'll need to use your password to log in. The kitchenette has a small stove/oven, granite counter tops, fridge, and microwave. The dining table sits by the large picture window overlooking the lake and forest. The covered back porch has cedar-log rocking chairs and you can feel the breezes coming off of the lake. All bedding and linens are provided. Some people bring citronella candles for the porch and newspapers to burn. (Use non-shiny ones for the woodstove). Again, the “Little Cabin” is really designed only for 2 people. Boat parking available. If you are coming by motorcycle, talk with us ahead of time about picking up pre-ordered groceries at Reasor's in town. We kept some of the trees to block the hot sun but the view is excellent off to the side of the cabin. Only minutes to the Pettit Bay Campground and Marina. About 25 min to the hospitals in Tahlequah. 40 min to Muskogee. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, cozy place where our guests feel at home and have a chance to get away from it all without spending a fortune.
