We have our studios on the other end of the property and are often there. during covid we are not interacting with guests in person. You are quite close to Omega Institute and Rhinebeck and Milbrook using the back roads. The street I am on is very quiet, the Taconic parkway is close with easy access , but you do not see it or hear it. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Nearby is Meadowland farm with a shack that sells local eggs and heirloom tomatoes, grass fed beef, etc. There is also Clinton Vineyards on Schultzville Rd that sells dessert wines nearby. The Golden Russett( at intersection of Centre rd and Fiddlers Bridge rd) has breakfast and lunch. Also there is Amtrak that goes to Rhinecliff( 20 minutes drive from my house). You are 1 hour 45 minutes from NYC driving. Newark airport in NJ or Westchester airport are airports to fly into that are closer than JFK. There are shortcuts driving between my house and Rhinebeck that make a big difference from using the Taconic. We are often on the other side of property in the barn and cottage. The house is on a long rectangular piece of land with the house on far left end and the cottage 3/4 to right of property and barn far right with its own yard and driveway.
