Lilac Hill offers a private, comfortable, one-floor house on a hill abutting conservation land and only a 15-minute walk to Peterborough town center, whose amenities include restaurants, antiques & other shops, movie theater (availability subject to pandemic rules), bookstore, and more . Plentiful indoor and outdoor spaces, including open kitchen/dining room/living room with working fireplace. Large extra room with ping-pong table and third full bath. Private patio. Level 2 EV charger. Plenty of board games available when you get tired of ping-pong and the well-used foosball table. Property abuts conservation land with hiking trails accessible from nearby streets. Easy access to local arts, culture, and galleries; varied live music offered locally multiple nights a week in Peterborough (availability of all is subject to pandemic rules). Please note: A dog lives in the house with us when we are not renting. Guests may access the entire house except for the attic and one back bedroom. The accessible portion includes two bedrooms, three bathrooms, kitchen and dining room, living room and family room, as well as a large room with ping-pong table and a "Florida" room adjacent to the entry room, which is also large. We will be present for check-in whenever possible to introduce the house and are readily available to answer questions via text or phone 24/7. An informational notebook/manual is in the house, as well. Brief walk around the corner to lovely meadow/conservation area with trails and brook. Short walk to downtown Peterborough, which has everything you could need, from excellent restaurants, cute shops, first-run movie theater, pubs, galleries, and more. Close walk or drive to Peterborough town center and multiple walking trails. Five-minute drive to Miller State Park (Pack Monadnock) for hiking trails. Mount Monadnock is a 20-minute drive. Please note that our dog lives in the house with us when the house is not rented. Of course we vacuum and clean thoroughly prior to your stay, but if you have severe pet allergies, this house is probably not the right one for you.
