Luna Sea: 5 Bedroom (additional 2 bedroom Guest house) Bayfront with Pool

Come to an original Harbour Island Paradise. Sleeps up to 13. Luna Sea is a 5500 sq. ft. family home that is a tropical retreat while still being close to town and the beach. Please note: The pricing during Jan-Feb and from mid August to mid December (with the exception of Thanksgiving) is only for the main house which sleeps 9 people. For more then 9 guests, the 2 bedroom guest house is an additional charge. The Guest House in never rented out by itself. The contract must be signed before we can accept payment. The main house is sunny and gracious with sprawling gardens, a large pool that wraps around the house. One enters the property down a long winding driveway to the main house. Luna Sea is perfect for entertaining and family gatherings with 4 terraces overlooking the bay, pool, and gardens. There is an elegant living room with views of the bay through sliding glass doors which lead out to a stunning covered terrace and sun patio overlooking the pool and bay. This the perfect setting for watching the sunset sink into the bay while relaxing and swimming. Off the terrace is the “Octagonal” game Room with wet bar, ice maker, pool table, large flat screen TV, and tons of games in case there is a rare cloudy day. Behind hand-crafted sliding barn doors, there is a private queen bedroom and full bath. Also on the main floor is a large dining room. The dining room is unique as it is a glassed-in bridge that spans across the pool and connects the south and north wings of the house. Just off the dining room is the spacious eat-in kitchen with a breakfast terrace with a hidden stair to the east pool. In the north wing there are 3 bedrooms with two full bathrooms and a half bath. One bedroom is set up with a king, the other has 2 twins, and one bedroom has one twin; two of rooms have terraces. Upstairs is the master suite that is a private paradise. There is a king canopy bed, large private terrace overlooking the bay, double sink with a soaking tub, dressing room/walk-in closet and an indoor, as well as an outdoor shower. The exterior of Luna Sea is a mature tropical garden with a terrace next to the bay with gas fire pit. The house comes equipped with cable, wi-fi, maid service 6 days a week (additional persons or time by request), TVs, reverse osmosis water, HVAC, AC in cottage, generator and many other amenities. Please note that during peak times there is a 7 day min. and Saturday to Saturday rental period. We strongly suggest that our renters purchase travel insurance. As we are a "destination" vacation that requires pre-planning, we cannot easily "re-book" the house. Therefore we have a strict cancellation policy. Also please note that there is a VRBO fee for international credit cards. Important note for families with young children: our house is not ideal for very young children because of the pool and access to the bay. It is virtually impossible to close off the pool which surrounds the house, thus childproofing presents a distinct challenge and drowning presents a real danger for children who cannot swim or swim well. We cannot accept any liability.
