The July House - lake views - 3B/1 amazing bath

You won't want to pass up amazing lake views from this charming house! This place is designed for guests, including a newly renovated bathroom that will rival any upscale hotel. Lake view from living/sitting room and all bedrooms. Walking distance to downtown food/shops. Our space is an excellent choice for couples, groups, and families including small children. Beds: king, queen, full, twin trundle (2 twin beds side by side). Available if needed: 2 pack-n-plays and full size air mattress. The house is set just around the bend from what becomes Main Street in Racine. You can walk to town in 7 blocks. Across the street is Lake Michigan and you can walk to the closest beach in 3 blocks. This is the best little spot to find sea glass! (Note: currently the water level is too high to enjoy this small beach.) The closest swimming beach is North Beach just two miles away. We provide towels, cooler, sand toys, beach blanket, and two comfy beach chairs for your use. If you need anything else, feel free to ask as we are nearby and available. We clean and sanitize with Norwex which means no harsh chemicals that can bother asthma-sufferers. All sheets, duvets, and towels are all laundered with free and clear detergent. There are three bedrooms. Master bedroom has a king bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and 3rd has both a full bed and a twin trundle. We can additionally provide a full or twin size air mattress, and up to two pack-n-plays. We do not want anyone sleeping on couches. The bathroom is completely remodeled with a custom walk-in shower, multiple jet shower head and a separate soaking tub. Additionally there is an enclosed toilet in the basement for those times you just need an extra throne. Please note: the bathroom is on the second floor. No bathroom on first floor. There is a TV in one bedroom and a larger TV in the basement with a sitting area. There are also kids toys including a large train table and train set. Families with small kids are usually happy with the selection! It's cozy and dry down there, but keep in mind only half the basement is finished. Netflix and Amazon Video available for use on the TVs, no cable. Important to know: there is only a small sitting area in the front of the house (no other yard) and no garage. The driveway fits two cars. Additional street parking across the street is available. The street can be noisy, we have very few complaints about this, but want to make sure you have all the info. Usually just means you won’t want to sleep with window open if the sound of cars keeps you awake. Ask for what you might need. The whole house will be yours. We live across the street and are available anytime for questions or assistance. The house sits just before Main Street which is full of historic homes and lakefront views and leads to paved walking paths along the lake. There are parks in walking distance. The house is near a busy corner. We get very little negative feedback about this but have had a guest or two who maybe wished they had earplugs at night to help with the sound of cars passing. We do have box fans for each room if that helps. Driveway fits two cars. Additional street parking across the street. Bus stop is across the street. As already mentioned, there is no backyard or garage. There is space to walk and ride bikes across the street by the lake (it's an incredible space to think of as your "backyard"). We have three small kids and getting out is not a problem. Update: the fireplace is currently out of service. Important: we do not allow smoking of any kind in the house. If we suspect smoking in the house you will be asked to leave. If the house smells of smoke when you leave, you will be charged your full security deposit.
