Sleeps 8-10, perfect for families, groups, couples , weddings goers, looking to stay in a newly renovated home. Our Home is bright and extremely clean, all the large windows and sliding doors, covered porches, and decks makes you feel surrounded by Vermont nature no matter the season. House sits on an acre of land, down a quiet country road, with manicured gardens through out the property. It truly has all the amazing comforts you want for your next getaway. Brand new for 2021, Air conditioning system for the entire house, 3 Custom Bathrooms with heated floors, two rain shower heads, soaking tub. Rocker's Retreat is owned by a local couple & their 4 children who love their adventurous Vermont mountain life, and rent their private home to help keep that dream alive for their kids- so thank you! Our custom home is designed to be relaxing, and stress free, from the moment you drive in . Private long and large driveway, always plowed out , and enough room for 4-5 vehicles. Upon your arrival you will see a huge covered cedar front porch into our large front entrance that has a ton of hooks, and storage space to hang and store all your gear. A brand new gas renaille heater is located in front entrance makes sure your gear dries nicely and keeps the house at a comfortable temperature, new Air Conditioning keeps it comfortable and cool for our hot summers The first floor has an open floor plan with a new "fully" stocked kitchen made for people who love to cook & Bake! It has a custom cement farmhouse sink, 5 burner gas stove, stainless steel french door fridge, custom concrete countertops, pots & pans, spices, plates, bowls, utensils, .... The living room has a ton of windows, and a new gas fireplace with a barn wood surround, custom cement hearth, and a 46" smart tv with cable. Wifi- signal is strong and through- out the house. The dining area open to the kitchen is surrounded by large windows and sliding doors, they open to the covered back porch with outdoor dining. The dining room inside has a large table that can sit 8 comfortably. Another very popular sitting area open to the first floor is the indoor hot tub room, surrounded by 8 foot windows to our gardens and huge white Vermont pines . The hot tub fits 5 adults comfortably and is drained and disinfected after each rental- The hot tub room is a glassed in area that is an oasis of relaxation year round . Off the first floor is also a bedroom/office that looks out to the gardens with french doors. A queen size bed with a memory foam mattress, great sheets, duvet, quilt and pillows can be found here and on every bed! There is a brand new washer & dryer on first floor , as well as a custom bathroom with two shower heads and concrete vessel sink. Upstairs is a large master bedroom that has a king size Tempurpedic mattress, and a brand new master custom bathroom with heated floors, and two rainshower heads. The large master bedroom also has sliding doors opening to a south facing long deck with a comfortable outdoor seating, views of Jay Peak and surrounding mountains. Another living room can also be found upstairs with a large couch that opens up to a queen bed for extra sleeping space, second office desk with sliding doors to upstairs deck. This living room also has a pellet stove that keeps the upstairs warm and toasty in the winter. This is a perfect extra space for families with children, or someone craving some quiet time, or for a second office space for renters that are working from home. Two more bedrooms are upstairs with queen beds on custom barn wood bed frames, and cozy duvets and sheets. One of the rooms has sliding doors that open to the long south facing deck, the other has large windows looking out at the white pines and over an acre of gardens, sandbox, playhouse/set. Our 4 bedrooms have Bureaus, benches, shelves and hooks in each room that allow you to really settle in during your stay. A full bathroom newly renovated is located upstairs , with a deep soaking tub, vanity, and an armoire that has all the towels you need for your stay. Blinds and curtains can be found in each room ensuring your privacy at night even though you are nestled quietly and safely in the mountains in our little slice of heaven. We have been successfully renting our home for the past 11 years, and continue to re-invest in our home and improving it.
