Cozy Retreat in Town w/ Firepit & Fenced Backyard

If you're looking for a quaint, comfy and super clean space right in town this is it. With a contemporary country style including buffalo plaids, industrial hardware, and new flooring throughout it feels roomy and relaxing from the sun room to the living room. Sip your morning Starbucks coffee in a plush velvety robe with a view of the trees and nature beyond after a good night's rest in the plush king-sized mansion bed. The backyard firepit area makes for a relaxing retreat and is quite spacious and private enough for family get togethers or time with friends and your dogs have room to roam too. You won't be disappointed! We know how it is to try to pack as much as you need for a longer stay so we've made the washer and dryer downstairs available to our guests at no charge. In addition the house is a dog friendly space. There is a fenced-in pen outdoors that leads into the garage as well as indoor pen and dog bath downstairs. We want to keep things super clean for folks without pets as well, so we would request that the pets are kept off all furniture and off the main floor (pet hair and dander is difficult to quickly clean up for other guests who are allergic). You are liable for any damage caused to the property by your pet. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and just a few blocks from downtown and UCM campus; 15 min to Whiteman AFB; a short 30 min drive to the State Fair in Sedalia; take Amtrak for quick jaunt to Union Station or drive to any concert or venue in the Power & Light District in downtown KC in an hour. We take pride in keeping the place super clean and sanitized for each guest. All sheets, towels, blankets, robes, tablecloth, kitchen towels are laundered and sanitized between each stay. Area rugs, couch, decorative pillows are sanitized and vacuumed as well. Pet policy (one time $30 fee, $10 each additional pet)- Our rules regarding pets are as follows: 1- For the safety of all other guests who may have allergies etc we do not want pets to ever be on the furniture or beds. 2- During the day the pets are welcome to be in the kitchen/sunroom area (gated in by a baby gate between the kitchen and living area, provided by us) OR the downstairs pen area/dog bath area OR the outside dog pen OR their own dog crate/kennel. Please note the outside pen area is not built for very small breeds and they may be able to get out if they are good escape artists. 3- At night the pet may sleep in a kennel but not on the bed. We can't risk the liability with other guests. Sorry for the inconvenience! 4- We are not able to accommodate cats at this time due to extra cleaning, concern for allergies of other guests, and excessive cleaning requirements with COVID. 5. PLEASE clean up after your pets. If you have any concerns or other questions regarding your stay with the dog just let us know. We are huge dog lovers but also have to keep in mind that not everyone in the world feels the same!
