Coastal living at its best. The Space: Suite #7- Quality construction and remarkable ocean views come standard. This spectacular 1 bedroom and 1 bath with a pull out sofa and a Kitchenette with mini-fridge and freezer, Broan cooktop fully stocked with drinkware, flatware, and dinnerware in the main suite. A Nespresso Vertuo coffee station with pods, Breville toaster oven, iron tea kettle and Ninja blender for preparing light meals. This 1 bedroom suite and 1 bedroom studio suite have a king size bed fully outfitted with luxurious linens and our favorite down comforter. High quality finishes include Toto Neorest 700 Dual Flush Bidet, glass framed showers with a Graff rain shower, stand alone bathtub and perfectly lit LED vanity. Apple TV on every TV. High Speed internet and AC. This is a second floor unit with private balcony. The unit has a fireplace in the living room. Guest Access: Our guests have access to their assigned suite and all shared common areas, including the expansive grassy area, grilling stations, beach sand lounging area, and laundry room. The Neighborhood: Dubbed "Billionaire's Beach" by locals, Carbon Beach has become one of the most popular and requested beaches in Malibu. Known for its long sandy beaches makes Carbon perfect for long walks on the beach, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, and sunbathing. You will be steps away from Nobu, the SoHo House, and seconds away from the sand. You can walk to Surfrider beach or the Malibu Pier from the beach access onsite, or you can walk a little further to the Country Mart for the best restaurants and shops in Malibu. There are always new shops opening nearly every day. Getting Around: SA Suites are located in the heart of Malibu within walking distance to the Malibu Pier and just steps away from Malibu's most iconic beach, Carbon Beach. The Malibu Country Mart is approx. 1.2 miles and is reachable by foot or car. Stay Awhile Villas offers car rental services to its guests. Uber is readily available. Other Things to Note: Please send our team a message prior to booking this home. Please do not request a reservation without speaking with the Home Manager. Also, please read the full list of rules below so that there are no surprises upon arrival or throughout your stay. Please note that you may be asked to sign supplemental terms prior to entry of the property depending on the booking platform you are booking on. Signing these terms is required before entry is given. Additionally, you may be asked to pay for your credit card processing fee after booking. In an effort to keep our properties in good condition and to maintain a peaceful presence within the neighborhood, we have a few rules in place. It is important to understand these, so please be sure to read the descriptions of each rule as well. 1) No parties and no visitors. We do not allow parties or visitors because these things often lead to a multitude of liability issues that threaten our permit to rent - issues with the homeowner, with the neighborhood, with the fire department, and with the laws surrounding property management (e.g., property capacity). If this rule is broken, then you will be asked to leave without a refund since you have chosen to put our permit at risk. So, to ensure that there are no infractions of this rule, we will ask for (1) a guest list and (2) the IDs of every adult within each reservation. Obtaining these two things also helps us protect you by ensuring that the right person and the right amount of people arrive at the property. 2) No pets We, out of principle, do not allow any pets. 3) No smoking, vaping, or the like Los Angeles Municipal Code Section 41.50 B 18 b High Brush Fire Zone | Prevent Wildfires | It’s the LAW You are in a high brush fire zone. Smoking outdoors or inside is strongly prohibited. We also prohibit the use of vapes, e-cigarettes, and the like. We have state of the art smoke detectors that are hypersensitive to all vapors and gases. If the alarms in these detectors are set off, then it will notify the fire department and we will be charged $500. And if we find out that the alarm was caused by some infraction of our rules, then the person who triggered the alarm will be charged $500. 4) Do not send mail to property before or after your reservation dates. If you need mail delivered before or after your stay, then we can help. You may send it to our office located at 22648 Pacific Coast Highway, Malibu, CA 90265. Then we can take your mail to the property for you on the day of your arrival. Please note that we are not responsible for any lost or unretrieved mail or packages. 6) Keep noise to a minimum between 10:00pm and 8:00am Once again, this is to help us maintain the peaceful atmosphere for all of the guests at the property and a peaceful presence within the neighborhood. 7) Parking You will receive one parking pass. You cannot park in the parking lot at the front of the property without the parking pass. If you are not able to get a spot, then you will need to park either on PCH or in the overflow parking lot above the complex that has D’amores pizza and PC Greens. Note that the handicap spot is ticketed by the police - as are all handicap spots in California. So, do not park there - or anywhere - without the relevant pass(es). The police will not hesitate to charge you +$500 for parking where you shouldn’t. Day of Arrival: During check-in, only the person who has made the booking can be checked in and only the person who has made the booking will be asked to confirm their identity by showing the host their physical ID. Again, this is to verify that the person who has arrived is, in fact, the person on the booking. So, please work with us as we follow our safety procedures and work to maintain a secure environment. Early/Late Check-In and Late Check-out Fees: We have a check-in window from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Our early check-in and late check-in fees are $50 for every hour before 4:00pm and after 6:00pm, respectively. Additionally, if you want to check-in before 12:00pm, then you will need to pay a fee equal to one full day. So, please keep this in mind as the day of your arrival approaches. Our check-out time is 10:00am. Our late check-out fee is $50 for every hour after 10:00am. Additionally, if you want to check-out after 12:00pm, then you will need to pay a fee equal to one full day. So, please keep this in mind as the day of your departure approaches. If you would like to have a late check-out, then please let us know in advance and we will see if we can accommodate it. If you would like to have an early/late check-in or a late check-out, then you will need to let us know one day in advance in writing. Doing this DOES NOT GUARANTEE our approval. Our approvals depend completely on factors that are out of our control. For example, whether the previous guest broke something at the property, whether the property needs its scheduled maintenance, whether our maids or technicians have ample time to do their job, whether our hosts/hostesses will have ample time to perform their inspections, whether the check-in is done outside of working hours, or whether there are any unprecedented issues. These are just a few examples of issues that determine whether or not we are able to approve an early/late check-in or a late check-out. So, let us know as soon as possible if this is something you are interested in and we can see if it is something we can accommodate. Cleanliness: During COVID-19 we increased our cleaning to include wiping down of all surfaces with very hot water in addition to professional grade disinfectant cleaners. We wash all towels and linens regardless of their appearance: we will wash them whether or not they appear to be used - believe it or not many hotels/rentals do not do that. We are making sure all door handles and high touchpoint areas are all being given extra attention. Our staff wears masks, gloves, and shoe coverings when they are inside of the home. We have always had very high cleaning standards and are proud to say that these standards go above and beyond what the CDC recommends. Lastly, by the end of your stay with us, if you feel our service provided to you has been nothing less than excellent, gratuity is always welcome. Just give it whomever you deem fit!
