Visit Elk Rapids, Traverse, Petoskey & Charlevoix!

Our first floor has a fully open floor plan with an living room with a TV (w/ available Apple TV/Fire Stick to log into) entry way, dining area, kitchen, 1/2 bath and spacious mudroom with attached laundry. Off of the kitchen is the deck with gas grill (the hot tub is not filled and not for rental use) and as you walk into the backyard you take a flagstone pathway to our patio ready for breakfasts, lunches or dinners outside under the shade of a large maple tree. Back in the house, off of the entry way you enter the "Michigan" den with a queen sleeper sofa couch, cable TV, and office desks along with book cases complete with books for your casual reading. Off of the office we have the only 1st floor bedroom with a queen bed and private 3/4 bath. The second floor stairwell ends at the smallest bedroom, our youngest daughter's, where you will find a single bed. The next room is larger, our eldest daughter's, and includes a double and single bed. The only bathroom on the second floor (a full bath) is newly remodeled. The last room is our master bedroom with a queen bed. The driveway includes parking (3, maybe 4 cars max). We ask that you do not park on the side lawn. The garage is not for renter use. The backyard includes a tree house but we ask that you allow small children to use it with supervision as the stairs are steep. We have a bin of outdoor toys to use in the backyard, too. We DO NOT have central air conditioning. We do have two heat pump/AC wall units on the main floor and in the upstairs master. The downstairs is sufficiently cooled and the upstairs remains comfortable if all doors to bedrooms are kept open during cooling times. Our home is also NOT toddler friendly, due to the steep staircase and the older railing upstairs. The bars along the stairwell are wide enough apart to allow a small child to slip through and fall down the stairs. For this reason, we are NOT a good home for toddlers or crawling infants.
