The home is centrally located and a short walk to everything from F&M college, central market, coffee shops, restaurants, shops, galleries and bars. Private chef available for breakfast, lunch & dinner as well as pre-arrival shopping, decorating, floral, massage, hair & make-up and other concierge services. The space The Slaymaker Lock House is a recently restored and renovated historic home with no attention to detail missed. Our goal was to create a space where guests can create their own experiences and memories -- hopefully inspiring them to come back again and again. This listing is for the back unit complete with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, living room, bathroom and courtyard. The house has 2 units in it so if additional space is needed inquire about booking the front unit with 4 additional bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, kitchen, dining and living room or the full house listing that can sleep 12 guests. Home Features // The 2 bedrooms have queen beds, 1800 thread count sheets and comforter and new cool gel memory foam mattresses with multiple pillows. Each closet has hangers and dressers in each room. The full bath has a tub, marble top vanity and slate flooring. Plenty of towels are supplied for all guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses, wine glasses, cooking dishes and more. There is a dining area off the kitchen or you may also choose to dine or enjoy morning coffee in the back courtyard. Technology has been incorporated throughout the house with Sonos speakers throughout that you can control from the houses iPad. A TV is perfect to relax and enjoy your favorite movie or shows in the living room with guest access to Netflix and Hulu. The basement has a full size washer and dryer and an ironing board and iron. Restoration Process // We took great attention to detail in bringing back the original character and charm of the home through refinishing the original hardwood floor and trim details. The home is a mix of restored elements, contemporary finishes, found objects and family collections that we just love. Enjoy the high ceilings throughout and perfectly curated areas to relax, recharge and enjoy!
