The highlights: - Hang out and grill on the deck - Play pingpong or foosball in the game room! - Relax in the open, light-filled living/dining room - Stream movies or take video calls on the fastest WiFi you can get (50+ Mbps!) - Drive 20 mins into downtown Harpers Ferry for great shops, restaurants, & river kayak/tubing rentals Winter update: we’ve had to battle several storms so far this winter where we had icy roads and/or multiple inches of snow. Our cabin is out in the woods on a gravel road, and the roads aren’t always plowed immediately; you may need an SUV and/or four-wheel drive to access the cabin during or immediately after a storm. Please keep this in mind when booking -- and note that we follow our standard cancellation policy for any weather-related cancellations. Enjoy! The Space: Our fun-filled, newly-renovated cabin is packed with amenities and fun for couples, families, or groups of friends. Huckleberry Hill is the perfect home base for our Harpers Ferry getaway! The cabin includes: - Three large bedrooms (two queen beds and a bunk bed), plus two sleeper sofa chairs in the game room - A spacious deck for relaxing and grilling - Downstairs game room -- with a ping pong table, foosball table and a smart TV (tons of fun for kids and “big kids”!) - Fast, reliable WiFi that's more than enough to stream movies and hold video calls - Fully-stocked kitchen with granite counter, dishwasher, stove/oven, and microwave - Open main room with exposed-beam ceiling We often take our two little kids and dog to the cabin with us, so we're very family- and dog-friendly. Beyond the cabin itself, the Harpers Ferry area is great for so many reasons -- and Huckleberry Hill is just a short drive to everything. Take in Civil War history in downtown Harpers Ferry, float down the Shenandoah River, go hiking in the woods, or explore the local wineries, breweries, and fantastic restaurants our area has to offer! COVID update: we're taking the coronavirus risk seriously, and have taken steps to ensure you're able to fully enjoy your stay: - We're using disinfecting spray on all surfaces and handles (doors, appliances) and only using disposable paper towels when cleaning - Our cleaners are washing their hands thoroughly as soon as they arrive at the cabin - If a cleaner is showing signs of sickness, they will be staying home and not allowed in the cabin We hope you enjoy your visit, and want you to stay healthy!
