The Treehouse OBX -- A Bees Nees Getaway

We welcome you to our Treehouse located in the Southern Shores of the Outer Banks. Set in a peaceful location surrounded by live oak trees the Treehouse is located directly across from the street from the Currituck Sound and just a 10 - minute walk to the Atlantic Ocean beach. The Treehouse is a tranquil, comfortable and unique house set in a private paradise, set atop a hill on stilts and shrouded in the forest, yet close to the beach. The Treehouse is adorned with four lovely bedrooms located on the entry level. The FIRST bedroom has a KING sized bed. The SECOND bedroom has a QUEEN sized pull out and twin bunk beds. Bedrooms one and two share a bathroom with an oversized tub with shower. The THIRD bedroom has a KING sized bed. The FOURTH bedroom has TWIN beds. The third and fourth bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower. All bedrooms have their own TV with cable, sound machine and ceiling fans. There is a full sized washer and dryer on the entry level floor. The upstairs is the main living area with an open and updated fully stocked kitchen. There is a large dining room table that seats eight people. A comfortable seating area with a television and a wood burning fireplace is the perfect place to nestle in with a book, watch a movie or spend time together. There is a half bath on the main living floor. The house comes with baskets of toys for children, board games and books. Enjoy the beautiful outdoor porches of the house: there is one on the entry level of the house by the front door with an Adirondack chair and bench, a second open porch on the main level with a gas grill, table with umbrella and chairs and additional lounge seating. Also on the main level is a breezy screened-in-porch with a view of the Sound through the oak and pine tree forest. Enjoy spending quality time in nature on the comfortable lounge furnishings on the screened-in-porch. The Treehouse is a quick car or bike ride into the lovely town of Duck. Miss the steady car traffic in and out of Duck by riding bikes along the bike path on Duck Road. Also, avoid the notorious weekend traffic by accessing our neighborhood directly after crossing the Wright Memorial Bridge. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the beach. Hillcrest Beach Access features outdoor showers and a lifeguard and is accessible with our parking pass. Tennis courts are available across the street from the Treehouse at the Southern Shores Community Courts. Let us make your stay more comfortable by providing you with the following items at the Treehouse. We'll welcome you and your company with a Bees Nees gift bag to enjoy and take home! The Treehouse bedrooms and bathrooms are complete with plush bath towels and bed linens and a starter supply of paper products. The bathrooms are complete with 4 rolls of toilet paper, Meyer's hand soap and bath wash, Bumble and Bumble shampoo and conditioner and hair dryers. The kitchen is equipped with all of your cooking needs plus 2 rolls of paper towels, Meyer's dish soap and hand soap, dishwasher detergent, cleaning supplies and an assortment of teas and spices. The laundry area is stocked with Meyer's or Seventh Generation detergent and Meyer's dryer sheets. For the beach, the Treehouse comes with: four beach chairs, 2 beach umbrellas, a collapsable wagon on wheels to haul beach gear, beach toys, and beach towels. There is a large outdoor shower with a rain head on the ground level. Please enjoy the books, games, cable and internet during your stay. We also have s2 beach cruiser bikes and 2 kayaks available for your pleasure during your stay. The kayaks come with life jackets and paddles.
