Cross Lake is on the Wisconsin border and the house is in Antioch just a little over an hour away from Chicago and Milwaukee. We recently bought this property and have furnished it to make it a wonderful get away. Wonderful memories await you! There is a main cottage and a second smaller cottage on the lakefront property that easily sleeps 9. There is a private pier so plenty of room to enjoy lake life with your family. Quiet neighborhood, large grassy lawn for picnics, games, fire-pit for night-time fun. We have lots of outdoor and indoor games to keep everyone engaged. The house has a tandem kayak, paddle boat and canoe available. If you have your own motor boat we have a pier and there is a private boat launch. Or, use our non-motorized water crafts! Comfortable sleeping for the whole family in the main cottage with 3 large bedrooms that are set-up to accommodate 10 in the main house (2 sets of bunk beds). The main house has both a large family room and a living room and dining room so plenty of room to spread out. There is a smaller cottage only 15 feet away from the main cottage where the second full bath is located. The second cottage sleeps 2 and has a full kitchen and a pool table. Both cottages are included in this offer. Sit out on the huge deck and enjoy the views of the Cross Lake which is a small private lake that has great fishing, motor boating and recreational craft. The yard is ¾ of an acre so plenty of room to play games. If enjoy bird watching, you will often see Blue Herons and other birds along the water and in the wooded area on the west side of the property. The living room and dining room provide great views of the lake so if it is a little too hot – stay in the air conditioned cottage The kitchen has granite counters and stainless appliances where you can cook, prep food for the grill or look at the local menus provided and order out! This has 125 feet of lake frontage with private dock. Swimming from the shore is available just down the lane at the neighborhood association beach and playground. WiFi and basic cable are available with two high definition TVs which allow you to utilize your Netflix or other streaming accounts. What a great time to spend family time playing outdoor games in the large yard. What is your game – we have croquet, badminton/volleyball, bag toss, and bocce ball.
