Resort style heated pool and spa!

Secluded home surround by trees with no neighbors in sight. Resort style heated in-ground Pool and Spa. It feels like you are on vacation in the tropics! Built-in outdoor grill and large firepit. Children will enjoy the large three-story playscape, sandbox, two treehouses, hammock, and ninja obstacle course. The home is spacious with a first floor master suite, first floor den, oversized sunken living room, dining room that seats ten, and large eat-in kitchen. The living room is fully stocked with children’s toys and books. The front doors open to the enormous foyer with a baby grand piano that guests are welcome to use. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms. One has a queen bed and the other room has a bunkbed with a double bed, twin above, and twin bed below in the trundle. A full bathroom with tub is shared between the bedrooms. The first floor master suite has its own private luxurious bath with sunken soaking tub, two-person tiled shower, and double vanities. A private office is located of the master bedroom walk-in closet, overlooking the serene backyard. This room also work well as a nursery and can fit a pack-n-play (portable crib). There is a half bathroom off the foyer, as well as another half bathroom accessed from outside that services the pool area. It’s a total of two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with large and small appliances, including coffeemaker, griddle, blender, and kitchenaid Mixer. The laundry room is right off the kitchen with full sized washer and new steam multi-function dryer. The best part of the home is the pool! In July and August the temperature is at least 85 degrees. The waterslide is plumbed so that when turned on the water streams right down the slide for maximum enjoyment. The built-in spa can be heated to your desired temp and is wonderful to relax in after a day of swimming. Lots of pool floats included. Watching the stars at night from the spa while the bats swoop above is our favorite pastime! The large screened porch runs along the rear of the home and overlooks the pool area. It’s a quiet place to watch the swimmers or enjoy a good book. The property is on two acres surrounded by hundreds of acres of conservation land. There are hiking trails right behind the home that go on for miles. The 8’ round firepit is situated at the rear of our property and is very secluded. We include firepit wood and it can make a roaring campfire! It’s great to enjoy after a day of swimming. The home is less than ten minutes to downtown Middletown where there are many shops and restaurants with outdoor seating. If you chose to quarantine at the house there are numerous takeout delivery options available. Instacart also delivers to the home for groceries and liquor. The public CT beaches are 25-45 minutes away. Bike riding is easy to do on the main road heading to town, or there are dedicated bike trails twenty minutes away. There are two public ponds located three minutes from the house. Each offers swimming, fishing, hiking trails, and non-motorized boating. Please send a message to inquire about summer availability. There is a Tesla car charger hanging on the outside of the garage for your use.
