You'll have this lovely full 3-bedroom (all queen beds), 2-bath home to yourself throughout your stay (1,820 finished square ft). Its location is in a peaceful, private lake community. Direct, backyard access to the lake make it a great place for a weekend away or to rest between adventures to Cold Spring, NY, the Appalachian trails, Bear Mountain, White Pond, and Fahnestock State Park. Feel free to enjoy the backyard BBQ or large kitchen for a home-cooked meal. And don't miss the lakeview sunset! We furnished the home with comfort in mind. You'll find large couches and a cozy papasan chair upstairs. In the basement, a large L couch, chaise lounge and a love seat provide comfy spots to relax. The whole place is open for use: All bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, basement, back yard with BBQ grill... Our home is your vacation home! The only quirk is unlocking the back door to get to the lake, and we've detailed instructions for that in the house manual (which you'll receive prior to your arrival). With keyless entry, you'll be able to check in and out at your convenience. You'll have the place to yourself throughout your stay. Should you need me or my assistant, we are available through the messages feature on booking platform nearly 24/7. The home is in a friendly, quiet neighborhood immersed in nature! It's a perfect location for a weekend away from stress and/or big-city noise. The home is located in a lake community so it is very quiet and peaceful. There is a beach area down the road a bit but it is for residents of the community only. Our guests are to only use the home’s property. We recommend renting a car to get around or using Carmel Taxi and Car Services. Uber & Lyft are not abundant here. We’re only a 20-minute drive from Metro North Southeast station and are easily to find through map apps. Pets are welcome for an extra $50 pet fee. Please let us know you are bringing a pet and we will send you a special offer with the updated price. We can only accept non-shedding dogs that are traveling with a crate or cats. We ask that you please keep all pets off the furniture and leave them in a crate if you are not in the home with them. Also, please pick up any droppings in the yard. Thanks!
