Waterfront Beach House in Enchanted Forest

Sweeping views of the sea, Mount Baker and the Sisters from the living room, bedroom, kitchen and wrap around deck. A large sun-deck directly below the home leads to a staircase to the private beach. Fittingly deemed "Wildwood" by the original owners, the house is nestled into surrounding acreage of old-growth forest. The home features a wood burning fireplace, two-person jacuzzi tub, separate water closet, dual-head shower, comfy queen-size bed, queen sleeper sofa, reading nook and grill. We are 1.6 miles North of the ferry dock on a fairly flat shoreline road. Lummi Island is a great place for biking/walking/hiking. The Islander (our grocery store), the Beach Store Cafe (open Fri-Sun), library and post office are all located by the ferry dock. The Willows Inn is 1.7 miles further down the road from the beach house. It takes about 35 minutes to walk there and is a 10 minute bike ride away. You can also easily bring your car on the ferry. No oven: The kitchen does not have an oven, however there is a large toaster oven (large enough for a whole chicken or a frozen pizza), a microwave and an electric stovetop. No cable TV: There is a cart in the closet with a TV and DVD player. The Islander (Lummi Island's grocery store) has DVDs for rent. Dogs: Dogs are welcome! We LOVE dogs! We ask that you please use good judgment when deciding whether to bring your dog. The house and furnishings are in really good condition and we want them to stay this way. Also, because Wildwood is home to so much wildlife, dogs must be on leash while on the property.
