This retreat is all about comfort; the bedroom features a double bed with a brand new memory foam mattress. Stream your favorite shows on the flatscreen TV, prepare savory snacks in the well-equipped kitchen, and snuggle up on the couch to start your movie night. What's Nearby Ideally located two blocks from the sand, this home is mere steps from Fire Island SUP Co. - a one-stop shop for watersports lessons and parasailing, paddleboard, and tubing rentals. Spend hot summer days at the Sunken Forest two miles east, where you can enjoy some shade and take a ranger-led walk through the trees, and spend an evening filling up on fresh seafood at the Island Mermaid one mile west. After a gorgeous day on the sand, you can walk over to Hideaway Restaurant after dark for some dinner and drinks on the bay. A bike rental location is adjacent to the property should you wish to rent bikes for your stay. Five miles away is the Fire Island Lighthouse, where you can learn about the history of Fire Island and take a tour of the tower. The $20 nightly fee will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is a paid parking lot at the ferry terminal where you can leave your vehicle; we encourage you to allow for extra time during peak travel season.
