Cozy, peaceful guest suite with your own private patio; 5-minute walk to downtown, shops, cafes, restaurants, library, and churches. Hop on the Nashua River Rail trail where you can walk or bike to neighboring towns of Pepperell and Ayer. Enjoy all Groton has to offer, miles of hiking trails, rent a canoe or kayak, golf, horse riding, fishing, apple, pumpkin, or berry picking, visit farmstands, walk up to Bancroft Castle on Gibbet Hill where "Little Women" was filmed and enjoy the view. Your guest suite is situated on the ground floor of our garage building next door to our house. You may also have neighbors in the apartment above you. Your suite has its own separate entrance and private patio. From the patio, sliding glass doors open into a , bright and cheery living room with a kitchenette. Aside from no oven, your kitchenette is well equipped with everything you need to prepare snacks and cook simple meals. (double hot plate, toaster, barbecue grill on the patio, microwave, fridge, etc) Breakfast food will be provided to get you started for the first few days of your stay ( eg tea, coffee, orange juice, milk, cereal, fruit or yogurt) also salt, pepper, seasonings Enjoy simple cooking or choose eating out, take out, or delivery from several fine or casual dining restaurants. Enjoy time and space to relax or convert the kitchen table to your desk and work from home. Sleep peacefully in this lovely cozy bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Whether enjoying time off to relax or working from the guest house, enjoy all the comforts of home with TV, and excellent WIFI in a peaceful setting. We welcome you and want you to feel at home. Enjoy lovely Groton and short drives 20-30 minutes to neighboring towns for additional restaurants, shopping, movie theaters, museums, music venues, golf courses, walking, hiking, fishing, farm and ice cream stands, horse riding, canoeing and kayaking on the Nashua River or walking, running, or cross country skiing on the Nashua River Rall Trail. We will provide you with a trail map to locate and explore many miles of conservation land throughout Groton.
