Top of the lollipop! Homey stay in the Bitterroot

Stay in the beautiful Bitterroot valley. Comfortable, spacious accommodation, less than 1 mile from river/FISHING access, 360 degree mountains. Totally peaceful home only 20 minutes from bustling Missoula. Our home is at the top of the circle, in a quiet neighborhood. Just the right distance to Rt 93 balancing accessibility and serenity. There is a large fenced in back yard area with a huge deck, we have a few folding chairs in the garage that are accessible for guests to enjoy the sun and looking over the Sapphire mountains. Walk into the door and into the huge open living area with newly remodeled kitchen. The large sectional couch and bean bag chairs make a cozy living room. Bathroom and bedrooms are just down the hallway, the main bedroom has it's own bathroom. There is an office room with a small desk, perfect for remote working. Please note, we don't have a TV, we have the MOUNTAINS! We also do not allow sleeping on the couches in order to maintain a high level of cleanliness. Everything in the house is accessible to guests, we don't want you to feel restricted. We keep dry foods and always like to have a frozen pizza for guests who find themselves in need. We ask that you respect this and ensure the courtesy is available to all. None of this is provided to you as part of your Airbnb payment. Please do not take without giving back. If you use it, replace it with like quality. We use this house regularly too so it's also a convenience for us if we don't have to lock anything behind closed doors. We would dearly love to keep this up but finding it increasingly difficult. Please help us to maintain a sense of freedom, gratitude and respect for all who stay here! We live in Bozeman just a few hours away. We're accessible by phone, text and Airbnb messenger. We have good neighbors and friends who could help if there's an emergency. Our favorite thing to do is spend the day at Lake Como which is just 40 minutes away. Pack a picnic and enjoy the beach or take a walk around the lake. The mountain bike trails at Como are quick and fun. We always stop at Big Creek Coffee in Hamilton on the way for a cold brew. Blodgett and Bear Creek overlook trails are two of our favorite short hikes with spectacular views. Saint Mary peak trail is a little more extreme but the views are well worth it. Mountain bike trails are all throughout the Bitterroot valley. The fishing access is incredible, just a mile from our doorstep. Blackfoot and Lochsa rivers are prime for rafting. In the winter we really enjoy Lost Trail Ski Area. It's a small town ski area with good tree skiing and cheap tickets! We'll often take a sunset Nordic ski at Chief Joseph, just across the street from Lost Trail. For bonus points, pack a hot chocolate and maybe a bit of whiskey. The bike path runs all the way from Hamilton to Missoula up the Bitterroot valley. We'll often hop on our bikes and ride up to Lolo Creek Distillery. It's a short ride for the rewarding huckleberry drinks they serve. Missoula offers everything else you might want - walk around the shops, get some good food, enjoy the live music. A car or truck is the best way to get around. The closest airport is Missoula, only 30 minutes away. There is a beautifully paved bike path that runs from Missoula to Hamilton and passes through Florence. We live an active lifestyle and the way we've furnished our home reflects that. We find ourselves outside more than inside when we're in the Bitterroot so we don't put a huge emphasis on filling our home with decor. We do want to be as accommodating as possible so if you feel uncomfortable in any way, we'll make it right. Once again; this house has no TV! But plenty of WiFi.
