Renovated with many modern conveniences and amenities, this old antique two story log home which has been featured in Better Homes & Garden TV., was built in 1852 90 miles south of St. Louis Mo. and moved to Roddy Tree in 1999. This four bedroom 2 ½ bath house will sleep 10. The bedrooms have a king & 2 queens & the sleeping area (between the two upstairs bedrooms) has 2 daybeds (4 twins). Full bathrooms are located upstairs and master bath has cast iron claw foot tub with a private porch overlooking the garden. The Gourmet kitchen with double oven & cook top opens to a large dining room overlooking the stable. A large front porch for setting and entertaining offers beautiful hill country views and a constant breeze up from the River. We live on the property, so we may assist you should you need something or have questions. In our general neighborhood we have 2 swimming pool area, 800' of the Guadalupe river for fishing, swimming, floating and canoeing. Everything is walk able. Golf carts are recommended. We also have a cool tunnel under Highway 39 to access the river and a bar/music venue, The Lazy Days Canteen.
