Enjoy our cozy 2 bedroom home! Since there is a sleeper sofa in the living room larger families can be accommodated. The kitchen is well equipped and has the laundry area. The fridge is stocked for a full breakfast. There’s a covered patio and carport. Located on a very quiet residential street but it’s close to restaurants, antique & specialty shops. Beautiful hiking trails, lakes, orchards, ShawneeWine Trail, SIU campus, Micro breweries & many other sights await you! Come and enjoy it all! The entire house is designated for guests. There is a small front and backyard. The yard is not fenced so if you are bringing a dog it is advisable to bring a leash. Most of the time my husband and I will meet you at the home for check-in, but occasionally that won’t be possible and you’ll be able to do a self check-in. The lockbox is located near the back door and we’ll send you a text with the combo early on the day of your arrival. Please text or call me with any questions or concerns that may occur. Friendly, quiet neighborhood that shows pride in ownership. Elementary school within walking distance and a Day Care center just two doors down the street. Nearby churches, gas station, hairdresser, coffee shop and laundromat. Some things are in walking distance but having a car is very much recommended. Having a car is your best bet for staying in Murphysboro. There is a covered carport and the driveway will accommodate at least 3 vehicles. Additional parking on the street is also allowed. The TV has an indoor antenna for local news and network viewing. There is also a VCR/DVD player and a few videos and DVDS. We always have a variety of breakfast foods available. Eggs, bacon, bread, milk, butter, OJ or other juice, MaltOMeal or oatmeal and in addition there will be some frozen and canned quick meals.
