The Yellow Cabin at Wood Mountain Campground

The Yellow Cabin. In the heart of the New River Gorge recreation area of West Virginia, we are minutes from I-64/I-77, Beckley and the small town of Fayetteville that is easy to fall in love with. Our cozy 2 BR cabins are brand new, very clean, big front porches, great decor, fully furnished including a kitchen, fire pits, and 5 acres of campground space. Convenient to whitewater rafting, hiking, historical sites, national and state parks, great local restaurants and more! On 5 acres on a hill overlooking the valley, this is Wood Mountain Campground. We are a small campground with 3 cabins, 4 RV spots, and tent camping, spread out across rolling grass. In addition to fire pits and scenic views, West Virginia Adventures rafting has a small outpost on site, if you are in the mood for a gentle float trip, a classic whitewater trip, or something even more adventurous. The entire cabin is yours exclusively, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath (a bathhouse on site is also available for use), a furnished kitchen with stove, oven, frig, microwave, dishes, cutlery, bakeware, etc. There is a large front porch with rocking chairs and adirondack chairs and small tables, as well as drying racks for any wet clothes if you visit the river. We live close, are on and off property as needed, or as requested! We are up on a hill, overlooking this recreational mecca, with easy access to Fayetteville, Beckley, New River Gorge National Park, Winterplace Ski Resort, Summersville Lake, Gauley River, and more! Cars, trucks, RVs, motorcycles, bicycles, boats - it's all good!
