Moon River Cabin is your chic home away from home. Enjoy an open floor plan including one private bedroom with queen bed, an open loft with two double beds upstairs, one full bath with tub. The sounds of the babbling brook will entice you to enjoy time on the screened porch. Rock your blues away, listen to the water, and enjoy the woods. You will be minutes from the Georgia Wine Highway, Helen, Clarkesville, Cornelia, and so much more. Bring your adventure and your kayaks and enjoy the Soque River - the only river in Georgia that begins and ends in the same county. The Soque is a tributary to the Chattahoochee and the two rivers converge minutes down stream. We offer a fire pit for your use and you must provide your own firewood. Do NOT put charcoal in the fire pit. We also offer a camp-style grill and you need to provide your own charcoal for the grill. Fine dining and craft foods are available at great restaurants in the area, trophy trout day trips, hike the Tallulah Gorge, visit numerous waterfalls in the area, and go wine tasting at any - or all - of the wineries on the Georgia Wine Highway all here in Northeast Georgia. Be sure to checkout our Airbnb Guidebooks for more information. We provide a 50" smart television at the Cabin for our guests to log into their Youtube TV, Netflix, Roku, etc. accounts. Satellite / cable television is not provided. High speed internet is provided. There is no dishwasher. There is no clothes washer or clothes dryer. Please understand - this is a rural cabin in the woods - you deserve to get away and this is the place for you. The grocery stores and restaurants are approximately 10-15 minutes away. We have a strict cancellation policy and strongly encourage all guests to independently purchase their own travel insurance. NO SMOKING - Our property is smoke-free. No smoking in the cabin or on the property. NO PETS - there are no pets allowed in the cabin or on our property. The community is a new community and the address is not properly displayed by Airbnb because GPS has no been updated. The cabin is located near the intersection of Hwy 105 and Hwy 115, Demorest, at the Soque River. Each cabin is owned by private owners so please be sure to be respectful of other's property. There is a community area where you can play volleyball or other activities, and there is access to the Soque River using the community area. Please be aware that the road to Moon River is a dirt road and your vehicle will need to be able to go up and down the hills on the dirt road. There are quiet hours from 10pm - 7am. Please be aware that this is literally a cabin in the woods. It's conveniently and centrally located between Demorest, Cornelia, Clarkesville, Cleveland, and Helen (about 15 minutes to each town from the cabin). In order to reach Moon River you will be required to drive down a single lane dirt road and navigate hills. Drive slowly and be on the lookout for wildlife and oncoming vehicles. We offer a fire pit for your use and you must provide your own firewood. Do NOT put charcoal in the fire pit. We also offer a camp-style grill and you need to provide your own charcoal for the grill. Cell phone service may be limited; we recommend making phone calls over wifi in the cabin. This is a great opportunity for you to relax and unplug.
