Galveston Island Cottage - on canal, walk to beach

This home is located on a quiet street with a canal in the back. It is a short walk/ride to the beach. Community pool and boat launch available with plenty of parking. Only a short drive to the Strand, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn and the Seawall. However, if you just want to relax in our quaint Jamaica Beach you will find a few local establishments to shop, eat or relax in. We are a small 2 bedroom (queen beds) 1 bath with a sofa/sleeper as well. Cute with a great location describes our small cottage (700 sq. ft.). You will have a front and back porch and lower patio to relax on as well as the canal walkway, BBQ grill, laundry room, wifi, basic cable and easy check in. Community pool available for a small fee ($5.00/day), beach and restaurants close by. You will find it information on these waiting for you in the house. Our house is in a quiet community that has noise sensitive regulations after 10:00 p.m. We are not a party house and do not allow pets (includes service/emotional support) due to severe allergy issues. We request you respect this guidelines. We have a security camera system that covers only the exterior entrances to our home and we have motion detection lights that will help you navigate the front and back steps and the door. The City of Jamaica Beach has recently changed the rules for boat launching and golf cart usage. Please let us know if you are bringing a recreational vehicle. If you are renting a golf cart the rental company will provide the permit. However, please be aware that you must have a current driver's license to operate a golf cart in the city.
