Cozy Cottage in the Woods with 100 Acres of Forest

Lovingly nicknamed "Cozy Cottage" this upgraded 1970's cabin will surround you with nature and trees while giving you a slightly urbane feel. The low slung mid-century modern furniture lulls you into relaxation and productivity depending on how you feel. While there are 3 bedrooms plus a bed adjacent to the main bedroom, the cottage is small at 1000 square feet with low ceilings in the two front rooms. It is an intimate space. The cottage is surrounded by a lawn and trees. In the back is a path to 100 acres of nature preserve including access to an 18acre lake that is canoeable. The path to the lake is about 1/4 mile and slightly overgrown. For the more adventurous you can walk back into a beautiful forest with ancient stone walls. It is quite wild and private. We have nicknamed a special spot the meditation center for forest bathing and meditation. We live close by and are available if you need us. We can give you advice on things to do and where to go. The cottage is completely private so you could choose to see no-one except the wildlife in the woods. Across the street is a well-kept family resort that is closed this summer. Down the street is the popular Woodhouse Lodge that just opened a Cavern. We have a PGA rated golf course Rainbow Gulf Club, the Greenville drive-in movie theatre and a multitude of wild swimming and nature preserves. Greenville NY is a beautiful, green village in the Northern Catskills. There is a drive-in movie theatre, a local Tavern, and natural preserves. The Catskill Mountains are 20 minutes away with Windham and Hunter a 30 minute drive. Albany is 35 minutes and the Hudson Train station 30 mins.
