Love Life, and Live to the Fullest! Charming Seasonal Lakeside Cabin for a delightful getaway into natural beauty and serenity. Sits above street level on top of majestic boulders. Perfect location between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake, thus "Arrowbear Lake!" Family Fun, or Romantic Retreat! Nearby shopping, restaurants and Running Springs. 10 mins to Green Valley Lake. Near Snow Summit for Winter sports. Right off Highway 18. Spacious parking for several cars, or larger vehicles. Magical! Please read carefully; this is a SEASONAL LAKE, and prices are adjusted accordingly. You'll love the Coziness of a mountain cottage, away from other cabins, yet easily accessible! Make unforgettable memories with special people. The Central location allows you to do it all in one trip! Having a Cabin on a lake is rare, and even in the dry months you're just a short and scenic drive to year round lakes; 30 minute drive to Big Bear Lake, 25 minutes to Lake Arrowhead, 10 minutes to Green Valley Lake and 35 minutes down the mountain to San Manuel Indian Casino. There are plenty of great restaurant's nearby and a short walk to famous "Blondie's Bar n' Grill" is highly recommended. The Seasonal lake in Winter is pristine and frozen (late December- February)! Waterfalls flow into the lake, and out of it under a small bridge like a storybook scene. It gets stocked with fish in the Spring and the lake remains full til about the middle of June. It gets lower in the Summer months and eventually dries up by Fall. It is fun even when the lake is low, because it creates a great terrain to kick up some dirt with your quads in the open dirt field and on the sand dunes! It is still nice to have a wide open area away from other cabins, even when the lake is dry. When the lake is full, we have a paddle boat for a fun ride with the kiddos, or an intimate night of "Star Fishing." The boat is under the Wrap Around Deck, and a short walk right across the street to the lake. The Paddles can be found in the Basement/Storage. Nice separation from other cabins for privacy and tranquility, there are NO cabins adjacent to us at all. That's the whole point of getting away to the Mountain's right?! Gorgeous Views from every window, and front and back decks. The rustic decor invites you into the nostalgia of classic antiquity, yet the comfort of modern facilities together, makes for a comfortable stay. Our cabin is right on the Lake with easy access to hiking on the boulder's of your back yard, and a short walk to the nearby park and hiking area's. Being centrally located in between all other resorts, makes it easy to visit a new and exciting place everyday with a short drive. Artist's Retreat! Whether it's a couple of days, a week or a month, whatever your passion is, this is an excellent atmosphere for you to explore every aspect of your creativity; Curl up with a good book or write your own Novel. Watch a Classic movie or write your next Screenplay. Listen to music on the surround sound, or Write and Play your own special songs. The acoustics are great for low level Sound recording such as vocals or acoustic instruments for your next hit song! Being a Hollywood Producer myself, I've personalized the cabin with Music and Film decor, to inspire Greatness! Feel at home, and the experience will leave you yearning to come back often and make new memories in the enchantment of every season. Mi Cabin, Es su Cabin! Please feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns or needs during your visit. You are welcome to all that our Little Cabin has to offer. You can access the Cabin entry from both of the hillsides, does require a little hike up the hill. There are only some boulder steps, NO stairs to climb up the hill. Sorry, no handicap access. It is SELF CHECK-IN with a lock box. The lock box code is given the morning of Check-In or the day prior. Please, be sure to make contact and to check your texts or emails for the info. The Heating/Cooling control panel is in the Living Room on the wall between the kitchen and bathroom. Turn both "red" and "Blue" nobs all the way towards cool, or warm for desired temperature. There are extra blankets, sleeping bags, towels and supplies in the bathroom closet and drawers, and the storage under the Living Room T.V. We also have some extra blankets next to the bed upstairs. The only things that are NOT for Public use are the Antique sets; Victrola Turntable, Typewriter, Keys, Lanterns, Etc. that are placed on the Window Case of the Kitchen area. These are authentic so please DO NOT TOUCH. You can use the antique looking landline phone, it is only a replica and it works! You have use of every room, and all the cookware, utensil's, rap around decks, paddle boat, portable BBQ, storage area, spacious Loft, entertainment system, Etc., are all for your pleasure. The only thing that we can no longer offer is the use of the outdoor Fireplace, due to the San Bernardino County Inspector's regulations. You are welcome to bring a gas operated fireplace if you have one. Just show some Respect and use with Care and Precautions! We have a quaint storybook style neighborhood with a Seasonal Lake, Waterfalls, and a small Bridge. All the cabin's are nicely spaced apart. The traffic is low, and we are right off of Highway 330 for easy access. A major benefit is Large Vehicle's don't have to maneuver through windy and narrow roads, or travel steep roads to get to our cabin. Having a neighborhood park and lake, makes it very convenient, especially for families with small children. Even when our seasonal lake gets low in warmer weather, it is still nice to a large space between our cabin and those across the way. It just ads to the feeling of a private and cozy mountain cabin. There are great restaurants nearby and a small market for convenience. We are right by the Fire Station for added safety concerns. A short walk to Blondie's Restaurant in highly recommended. TRASH: Do NOT leave trash out on the balcony because it will attract wild animals such as Bears (yes, it is named appropriately), Mountain Lions, Raccoons, Etc. This can not only make it unsafe for guests, but it can be very messy if the animals get to it after you have left. trash pick up is on Monday's, and can build up during the week. It is recommended to use smaller trash bags that may fit in trash cans at gas stations on your way down the mountain. Please, clean up after yourselves including disposing food and other trash. Use platic bags to dump into trash cans provided next to the parking lot. There is a dump station off the Highway 18, for larger trash bags. Thanks for your consideration.
