Waterfront Retreat

We invite you to come and experience our truly, one of a kind property directly on the bay front in the popular West End of Long Beach. Within walking distance is every convenience, as well as bars, restaurants, boutiques etc. We offer 2 passes as well as everything you will need for a day at the beach! Bikes are available for riding the boardwalk and kayaks available for exploring the bay. Our outdoor kitchen with BBQ is an added bonus! This is a newly renovated, large guest suite in our home that offers beautiful waterfront views. There is street parking available and private entrance. There is a king size bed as well as a queen pullout sofa and privacy screen available. There is a large, shared, outdoor deck and private beach where the kids can play while you lounge and read a book! The perfect spot to enjoy a meal, take in the sunset and just relax watching the boats go by. Kayak directly across, and you are exploring the protected marsh and bird sanctuary. Please note... the space is large but still a studio, so for your comfort, we only allow a maximum of 4 guests at a time. Guests have complete access to entire outdoor area which is shared space with myself and my family. We live on the property so there will most likely always be someone available to you during your stay to greet you and be helpful in any way. That being said, there is living space above the guest suite, so you will likely hear footsteps and possibly voices from time to time from others in the house, although I have never received complaints. We are well travelled and believe that Long Beach is a truly special place and we look forward to sharing it with you! Our beaches have some of the finest sand in the world and there is also a large surf community here so if learning to surf is on your bucket list, this is the place! What I love most is that there is nothing you can not access by walking! A large variety of restaurants, bars and boutiques are available as well as a grocery store, splash park, pharmacy, nail salons and an urgent care walk in facility. Once you arrive and park your car, it won’t be needed again until you leave. The best way to get around is by walking but we also have bikes available which would have you up on the boardwalk in 5 minutes! The Long Island Railroad station is a five minute drive away and it is only a 50 minute train ride from there into Manhattan. Your waterfront retreat is an hour from one of the greatest cities in the world! Your host is also a licensed esthetician with a beautiful, in-house spa! We have also recently added a beautiful outdoor bar/kitchen which includes a BBQ, sink and refrigerator. Perfect for sunset dinners!
