The sister cottage, next door, is currently under renovation and will be available to rent sometime this summer. You will have the entire 3 BR/ 1 BA house and spacious yard to yourself. Just completed a full restoration of the cottage from top to bottom. It is sparkling clean with comfy seating, pillows and gel memory foam mattress toppers on all beds. Private single car garage that could easily store kayaks, mountain bikes, or fishing gear. The backyard is complete with new landscaping, grill, patio table, chairs, and fire pit. You will have privacy, but we are available at all times during your stay should you have any questions. The cottage is perfect for a weekend getaway to historic Bedford, Virginia where you can enjoy unique dining, antiquing, or learning about our beloved Bedford Boys at the D Day Memorial. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, you might enjoy spending the day hiking, boating or fishing nearby. Or you can just relax on the farm and visit with our resident horse and donkey, have a glass of wine and enjoy a beautiful mountain sunset. Our farm is centrally located to many attractions. Located on Rt 122S, we are only 2 miles to Centertown Bedford , 11 miles to Peaks of Otter & Blue Ridge Parkway, and 14 miles to Smith Mtn. Lake. Roanoke and Lynchburg are both easily accessible by car in 30 mins.
