Just 90 minutes north of Toronto, this newly-renovated, gorgeous retreat is right on Georgian Bay, one of the world's most sought after destinations. Revel in breathtaking views, amazing sunsets and the privacy of numerous cedars. You will love the sun, sand, rock and waves which will captivate you. Access your own deck, lawn, and beach as well as many fun winter activities. Inside, enjoy open concept living with magnificent 17 foot cathedral pine ceilings. With just the right amount of 'rustic' and modern amenities, you will enjoy the comfort of cottage living year round. Extensive renovations have just been completed for your greater comfort and enjoyment. Features a roomy, fully-equipped kitchen with microwave, full-size fridge and stove and spacious master bedroom with walk-in closet and ensuite. Enjoy our brand-new 4 pc. main bathroom. The living room and two of the 3 bedrooms provide patio door walkouts to a large deck running across the entire front. The open concept main living space has a dining table that seats six and opens onto the living area with three comfy sofas where you can enjoy our 65" flatscreen UHD Smart TV providing Netflix, YouTube and much more. You will have the whole guesthouse to yourself with all entrances private. Our desire is to ensure that you have a truly enjoyable and memorable stay. We will happily and promptly answer any questions via text. Visit the many sights of Huronia including historic Martyr's Shrine, Sainte-Marie among the Hurons and the Huron Indian Village in Midland. Hiking and biking trails are close by. There is a very kid-friendly playpark and swimming area just down the road called Mackenzie Beach. Enjoy boating, take a Boat Cruise through the 30,000 islands or go to Port Severn, the first lock of the Trent-Severn Waterway. You can fish, swim, waterski, wakeboard, skidoo or enjoy skiing and snowshoeing in the winter - you are only limited by your imagination. There is an accessible boat launch two minutes away in Victoria Harbour. We are happy to provide maps and information in the cottage to help you explore the area. Fireplace is NON-FUNCTIONAL and for show only. Dock is only available during summer months. Usage is allowed but strictly at your own risk. Access to any of the boats is not included. Beach size may vary as water levels fluctuate. Outdoor Fire Bowl in designated area ONLY. Fires are allowed unless there is a local fire ban. Guests to PROVIDE THEIR OWN clean and dry firewood. Online search 'Tay Township fire ban' Gas BBQ is not available. Air Conditioning: We have never used air conditioning at Georgian Bay Paradise as it has been rarely necessary. With the cool breezes off the Bay, the climate is typically very moderate. On a hot day with an offshore breeze, we utilize ceiling fans and portable fans which seem to do the trick most of the time. Snowshoes on the wall are for decoration only. Please bring your own ski, snowboard and snowshoe equipment. There is free parking available on the property. We allow for up to 2 cars.
