You will be 10 minutes to The Charleston Coliseum and Appalachian Power Park. The Shawnee Sports Complex and WVSU are 7 minutes away. Come experience Peace Like a River! Cottage style is clean, white walls with open shelving. In the bathroom you’ll find a barrier-free rain shower, antique claw-foot bathtub, antique sink and medicine cabinet. Bedrooms all have allergy-free casings on mattresses and pillows. Free and clear detergent used on bedding by request. Partial wrap-around porch overlooks the Kanawha river and sunsets there are so peaceful! You will have access to the main floor of the cottage and all outdoor areas. The basement and attic are inaccessible. I won’t be at the cottage so if you need me, I’m only a text away. In our little neighborhood you will see older-style homes, homes that are currently being restored and Appalachian Power’s office building and storage facility. Still, the cottage is quite peaceful as it is the last house on a dead-end street. The railroad is a block away and you may hear a coal train during the day.
