A renovated 1880’s farmhouse with all the modern amenities yet keeping the charm. It is between Lake Placid (5 miles) and Saranac Lake (4.5 miles) in North Elba’s tiny hamlet of Ray Brook. It has a completely fenced in yard with lots of room to play and a large back deck to watch it all happen. *if you intend on bringing any pets please contact us prior to booking. We allow 2 small or 1 medium to largish well behaved, fully vaccinated, house trained dog.s/animal.s. Thank you. A quaint two bedroom farmhouse built in the 1880’s that my husband and I renovated. It is warm, cozy, bright and clean. A perfect spot to relax after a day full of activities. You can cook your own meals or head out to the brewery on your bicycle, or bring a beverage and enjoy it by the fire pit- whatever your fancy! Entire property except the garage. The basement in the garage is available for bike/kayak storage. We live in the neighbourhood so if there is a problem; we are close by. In between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake and close to everything Adirondack! Coming 2022 a rails-to-trails bike path/snowmobile trail from Tupper Lake to Lake Placid; passes right behind the house. Please, bed sheets (queen and twin) and bath towels are not provided with this rental, but may provided them for an added fee of 15$/person/stay. We are animal friendly however if you are considering being your pet.s/animal.s please contact us PRIOR to booking as we have size restrictions and other considerations. Uninvited and unknown pets/animals arriving will be assessed a 150$ fee/pet/animal. You may/may not experience noise from snow mobiles during the winter months. There is a rail to trail that runs behind the house.
