WoodField Hills Inn - Renee's Room

We will be the first ones to tell you that the Woodfield Hills Inn isn’t anything fancy. We feature comfortable rooms and beds in a wooded setting that is quiet and peaceful. The bedrooms are huge and inviting and the accommodations are homey. "We want our guests to feel like they are family while staying with us. It’s that simple." -Robin Stiffler, Proprietor Mornings here at the Inn are peaceful and sunrises can be watched from the front porch as the many species of birds* sing and gather food. Evenings are as restful watching the sunset into the trees and waiting for the stars to come out. Where Are We? The Woodfield Hills Inn is located in a great place geographically. We are about 3 hours north of Indianapolis, approximately 3 hours east of Chicago and close to 3 hours northwest of Columbus. We are located immediately north of Dewart Lake – which is 7 minutes west and south of Syracuse, Indiana, ( BTW, Dewart Lake is one of 100 lakes in our county). The Inn is situated in a cul-de-sac on the edge of a woods with lots of trees, plants, flowers and wildlife in and passing through our yard. We have no pets in the living area of the B&B. We only have one non-wild animal on the property - a tom cat that lives outside. As a guest of ours in Renee's Room, you will have a VERY large bedroom with two queen-sized beds, a walk-in closet, a half bath, and a sitting area. You will share the hallway full bath with the Guests in Michaels. There is a large Living room, dining room, covered front porch, back deck and the wooded yard that are all shared with the guests in Renee's room. The Kitchen, Salon, and laundry rooms are off-limits to guests. We pretty much continue with life as this is where we live, and our guests can interact with us as much or as little as they wish. We have two porches, a large sitting area, a big dining room and a great kitchen that are all available to relax, unwind, read a book, have a discussion, or just breath in the country air and listen to the wildlife. We live in a rural community in a Cul-De-Sac. We are situated on wooded 3 1/2 acres with a large yard. The neighborhood is quiet without much noise or excitement...the way we like it. The closest town , Syracuse, is 7 minutes away - a few fast food restaurants..many very good restaurants and Indiana's largest natural lake. What On Earth Is Around Here? We actually have quite a bit of things to see and do within a 45-minute drive of the Woodfield Hills Inn. In 45 minutes you can be in Ft. Wayne or South Bend where there is lots of shopping, minor league baseball in both cities as well as hockey in Ft. Wayne. The University of Notre Dame, bike trails, lots and lots of restaurants, playhouses, breweries, wineries, lakes to fish and ski and boat on. Colleges and seminaries, parks, woods, backcountry roads, mom and pop cafe’s, Amish shops and of course, what we have the most of…cornfields. PLEASE NOTE - The price includes ALL Taxes and Fees.
