Private Cottage @ the Manor, 3 bedrooms*

Welcome to our cottage nestled in a historic waterfront town. This spring/summer enjoy a cocktail/soda out on the patio. Turn on some music and dance while cooking up your favorite dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, have dinner brought to you or enjoy a delicious dinner at one of our delicious restaurants, just a quick walk down Main. Grab a specialty coffee, pick up a souvenir, catch the sunset on the river, and much more! Great place to work with private office and high speed internet! The cottage sits approx. 75 feet from the back of the Manor, with a granite/stone breezeway between, creating a large patio space for you to enjoy. Once inside the cottage it is open and airy, decorated with a nautical theme in the main living space/dining. This area also has the warmth of a cozy gas fireplace (seasonal) . The kitchen is farmhouse industrial decor and is just off of the dining area. The bedroom is in the back left threw a short wide hallway from the living area. Full bath has a stand up shower w/waterfall showerhead. Upstairs there is a 2nd bedroom with two twin beds and a private office. The entire space is for you and you alone, We look forward to welcoming you as our guest. Bring your kayak's Marina Park and several other places are available to drop in within 400 ft. to 15 min from the cottage. Depending on the adventure you are looking for. Marina Park also has a boat launch and free 72 hour docking (no hook ups) Note: The upstairs rooms are an A line roof/ceiling, and has lower than normal windows, we do not recommend for young children. Nor individuals over 6ft. One Dog is welcome, (two can be arranged with a small added fee) but must be on a leash at all times, outside of the fenced in back yard. Owners are responsible for all Doggie damages and must clean up there poop. Sorry no cats. Port Deposit is a small town, and we are right in the heart of it, you could experience higher than normal noise levels. The entire Cottage is yours. We live in the Main house, our back deck faces your front door, the patio, which is quite large, we might see each other in crossing or grilling/chilling. The lot next to the Manor is graveled and is our own private parking. Bring the bikes, kayaks, jet ski, and boat. The cottage has it's own front entrance, and also has a side door out to the small fenced in yard. Feel free to use the entire front patio, grill up on the back deck of the Manor, enjoy smores at the fire pit, have dinner out on the patio table w/umbrellas. Welcome! We live in the main house on the same property , totally separated from the cottage. Most of the time we are around, but like to give our guest space and privacy. We may cross paths in the yard/patio. Special Occasion? Want decorations? Cake? Charcuterie board? Wine? Champagne? Reservations? Dinner catered? Breakfast delivered? Refrigerator filled? Etc. Port Deposit is a historic waterfront town located along side the Susquehanna River, near the opening of the Chesapeake Bay. Population is about 800 residents, we enjoy waterfront dining, main street dining, coffee shops, gift shops, museums, parks, marina, fishing spots, boat/kayak/jet ski launch at Marina Park. Port has beautiful architecture, churches and historic homes, it is also known for it's granite, which was quarried here many years ago. Port Deposit truly is a hidden gem. We are a very small town, we have trains, close by to the cottage, a firehouse and the Manor is on Main St. we could have above normal noise levels. The cottage has it's own private parking lot and you have your own parking space. Once parked you really can walk to everything in town! Restaurants, museums, coffee shop & small market, The Shoppe at The Manor, human parks and a dog park, marina, etc. Check out our guidebook for more information. NOTE: Port Deposit is a small town, we are near the fire station, train tracks, and the Manor sits right on Main St. The Washer/Dryer Steam combo is for small loads only!!! For our longer term guest (30 days or more) we provide wash for towels and sheets. Just put in plastic bag and hang outside the door for a 24 hour turn around.
