The upside is a genuine, authentic cabin getaway on top of a mountain. Unfortunately, the cabin is not well-insulated from extreme temperatures or insects. The months of September through November are particularly trying for renters who equate a clean space with a space that is insect-free. During these months, the local Christmas tree farms release millions of ladybugs, some of these harmless insects make their way inside the cabin. We have the exterior of the cabin treated every year in September to limit the number of insects that make it inside, but inevitably some make it in. We hope you understand, we can not offer a refund for those renters who find insects inside the cabin ** -- POLICIES -- - No smoking - No pets - No hiking or hunting allowed. - No ATVs or motorcycles allowed on the property - No events, parties or large gatherings - Must be at least 25 years old to book - Additional fees and taxes may apply - Photo ID may be required upon check-in - NOTE: Linens and towels are not provided at the property. It is recommended that you supply your own. Upon request, linens are available directly from the owner - NOTE: There is another cabin on the property, and the homeowners are occasionally there on weekends. If you prefer to have the mountain to yourself, please contact Evolve to schedule dates when the homeowner is not there - NOTE: The gravel road up to the cabin is very steep in certain places and requires a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle to access - NOTE: Money will NOT BE REFUNDED if a suitable vehicle is not used for transportation up the mountain and/or for renters who find insects inside the cabin
