Perched in the mountains above Tannersville on 10 private acres with streams, sun, and forest, and conveniently located next to the Deer Mountain Inn, this glamping property has 3 distinct tents and all the modern amenities needed for a true wilderness escape and experience. THE CABIN TENT is designed to be the hangout space. THE DUTCHER TENT has a king bed...sleeps up to 2. *Price for Dutcher + Cabin is $275 a night (you will have the entire property to yourselves). THE HOLLOW TENT has a queen bed and a cot...sleeps up to 3. *Price for Hollow + Dutcher + Cabin is $398 a night (you will have the entire property to yourselves). The Cabin has 2 futon sofas that pull out to full size beds...can sleep up to 2. (Above is weekend pricing, we have discounted weekday pricing) *3 night minimum on holiday weekends. *The barn on the land is private property and not to be entered. *No parties. ....... CABIN: The 13' x 13' wall tent sits on a 20' x 30' deck that also houses the hot outdoor shower and bathroom. The inside is furnished with a wood burning stove, 2 sofas, cow skin rugs, furniture and lighting. Power allows for fast Wi-Fi, Sonos Sound System, a Nespresso machine, Vornado fan, and Dr. Infrared heaters. There are lots of books, games, and 2 fishing rods. Outdoors include a fire pit with stacked wood, a hammock in the trees, a large cooler, chairs, and Cornhole. DUTCHER + HOLLOW: The 16' diameter all-weather bell tents sit on a platform and have wood burning stoves, beds, cow skin rugs, furniture, lighting, fans, and electric heaters. There are views of the pond below. AMENITIES include: wifi, sonos sound system, nespresso machine, wood burning stoves, dr. infrared heaters, a large cooler, vornado fans, flashlights, lighters, fly swatters, don't bug me wipes, first aid kits, board games, playing cards, fishing rods for the pond, solar lights, exterior deck light, interior lamps, public goods bath amenities and shower towels, pendleton wool blankets, beach chairs, cornhole, hammock, outdoor fire pit. ACTIVITIES in the Great Northern Catskills include: hiking, biking, fishing, exploring and swimming in the Kaaterskill falls and local swimming holes. Antiquing, breweries, and farmer's markets are also abundant around the area. Close to Hunter, Wyndham, Phoenicia, Woodstock, and Hudson. BEST LOCAL BITES include: Deer Mountain Inn (directly next door), Scribner's Lodge, Last Chance Antiques and Cheese, Twin Peaks Donuts and Coffee, Bear and Fox Provisions, and Circle W.
