Beautiful house located on Swan Lake in Oxford, CT The perfect location to enjoy the state of CT; thirty minutes from new haven, forty five minutes from Litchfield County, twenty minutes to the beaches of Milford, and close to New York border. Close access to various hiking trails, wineries, breweries, shops, etc. Truly the perfect spot to enjoy what CT has to offer. Welcome to Swan LakeHouse! You will first pull into the gravel driveway located at the top of the property- and then follow the stairway down to the entrance of the house where a self check in lockbox will be located. The first floor has all three bedroom- one king, one queen, and one full. The master suite as well as the queen bedroom have beautiful water views and plenty of closet space. The vintage full bath is also located on the first floor. Down the stairs is the spacious open concept living room, kitchen, and dining space. When you first walk downstairs you will be greeted by a wall of sliding glass doors and windows that face the water- allowing for plenty of natural light and beautiful views. These sliding doors lead out to the gravel overview with plenty of space to sit as well as a side porch with stairway down to the water. There is also a small grass strip by which provides a space for chairs, small lawn games, as well as a provided fire pit. Also located downstairs is the washer, dryer, pantry, and half bath. Swan Lake is a private lake in Oxford, CT used primarily by its residents. Fishing, swimming, and use of non motorized boats are permitted. The lake does not allow the use of motorized boats. The house is located close to the Swan Lake beach!- quick two minute walk. Beach is free to use with a provided pass. Enjoy a roped off swimming area and sandy lake beach. Although the house has a rural feel, it is located locally to lots!- Starbucks, Dunkin, handful of restaurants, mini golf, and two groceries stores are about a two to five minute drive from the house. Explore further and you’ll find wineries, breweries, lots of restaurants, a few beaches, etc. let us know if you have any questions about the property, we’d love to answer them! Have access to the whole house except for the following: Laundry is reserved for stays longer than four nights The furnace room will be locked off as well The house is self check in, but I live a short distance away and am available during your stay for any questions or issues.
