Close to village of Millbrook (less than 4 miles). We are located in center of Dutchess County. There is great antique shopping, historic sites and some of the finest restaurants and chefs with tastes to suit most everyone. . We are close to several award winning wineries and breweries. Stormville Flea market is less than 20 minutes away and you never know what you might find. Lots of great antique shopping both in the village of Millbrook as well as in the surrounding area. Poughkeepsie is 20 minutes away, with the walkway over the Hudson offering incredible views of the Hudson River. New Paltz is 40 minutes away if your looking for the fun of a college town. Or perhaps your looking to just get away and enjoy some peace and quiet and the lovely scenery we have to offer. The apartment has a separate entrance. You may walk the property (12 acres) please stay out of the barns unless accompanied by your hosts. If interested in collecting eggs please let me know. We are available for questions or any information regarding the area. We choose however to respect your privacy and will permit you peace and quiet during your stay. We are located 5 miles from the village of Millbrook a small quaint village with antiques, several restaurants and shopping. In addition we about 10 miles from Millbrook winery. We are also close to many historic sites, breweries and Poughkeepsie. Due to our rural location car is best way to get around. Lfyt and Uber are available however please double check their web sites for availability. We are also located close to several train stations if your interested in heading to NYC for the day. Trains run from 6am- midnight most days. As a special bonus we will be providing farm fresh eggs laid by the chickens here on the farm. We also offer you the option of taking home a dozen fresh chicken or duck eggs for a small fee.
