Beautiful 4 bedroom mountain home nestled in "Happy Valley". This spacious property provides both comfortable indoor space and amazing outdoor space to roam and play. Relax by the creek and make smores in the fire pit or grill under the covered pavilion between the creek and a beautiful, professionally landscaped pond. Grab your morning coffee and unwind in one of the rocking chairs on the front porch with a picturesque view of the glorious valley and the beautiful mountains. Ample parking for multiple vehicles. Conveniently located to downtown Andrews, Hawksdene, hiking, rafting/kayaking, Harrah's Casino, wineries/breweries, live music, and a short drive from John C Campbell Folk School, Joyce Kilmer Memorial forest, Nantahala Gorge and Outdoor Center, and the Cherokee reservation. The second and third floor of the home is available. The above ground basement will not be available. Our beautiful outdoor area is available for your enjoyment. All rocks around the pond may not be moved, thrown, skipped or played with. The rocks are part of the landscaping even those perfect skipping ones! Also the rocks on the side of the creek may not to be moved. The rocks in the middle of the creek you may skip, move and create with. If you create a dam please dismantle it before you leave. If you explore the wooded area behind the house, do not touch, move, or play with any items especially around the shed, tree house or miscellaneous personal items. The entire tree house is off limits. Please do not play with any water catch basins, pipes in or around the spring or pond. This unique property has valley and mountain views. The security of the property coupled with the serene beauty is like a slice of heaven. We have 5 families who live in our little valley. They have dogs who might come and say hello. Flash is a large brown dog, Trouble is a medium mostly black dog who doesn’t like to be touched, Otis is a young black lab and Leo is the smallest and is black and white. All of our property is behind the house and up a side of the mountain. There is a grass area on the other side of the creek which is ours also. There is not public transportation in Andrews, but there is plenty of parking to bring your vehicles. There are wonderful hiking trails accessible from property, and the Appalachian Trail is minutes away. No pets allowed.
