Rest and relax with stunning bay and ocean views from enormous windows that cover one side of the home. Perched on the hillside, just 5 blocks east of Hwy 101, the view will catch your breath as soon as you walk in, and you may sit and stare at it for your whole visit. The house is an open and spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home, with all the amenities of a vacation home you would outfit yourself. 2 We know you want to bring your dog on vacation, so we have opened it up to them, too You'll have full access to this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. Built in 1995, you can expect the amenities that come with any family home. 3 comfortable sized bedrooms, with all the kids sharing the same bunk room. Allowing adults to relax with privacy and their own TV. Overlooking Siletz Bay, and an easy view to Cape Meares Jetty and the ocean beyond, the view is captivating. You'll see tides come and go, stores come and go, and the sunset may captivate you for 30 minutes each evening. This is a pier-water town, so you need to drive to Rockaway or Oceanside to get to a sandy beach, but the water view is certainly the centerpiece. We allow vacationers to bring their dogs, because we know it's important for vacationers. Please remember that not every traveler has dogs (including us - we don't have dogs) when considering indoor rules for your pet. We have a Bissel steamer and some spray cleaners if there are any accidents. For those that want to have the comfort of an easy living home while coming to the beach, this is the house for you. We fell in love with it, because the house has everything you need, and nothing to win your heart over the view and the experience. We have games and puzzles that we buy at goodwill and garage sales. If you do a puzzle and a piece is missing, please recycle it. It's ok. We buy more. If you finish books or puzzles, feel free to leave them for future travelers. TV: There are 3 x 55" TVs in the house. The living room, Master bedroom upstairs, and the queen bedroom on the main floor. We have basic cable (YoutubeTV app), Netflix, and the master suite has a Chromecast. Please, make yourself at home! There are more specific (remote use, etc) instructions in the welcome book at the house. Music: Spotify app on the TV. There is also a radio under the cabinet in the kitchen that has a radio station. Master bedroom upstairs has a king bed, 55" TV, bathroom en-suite, and a sitting loft to sit and enjoy the view. On the main level, there is a second bedroom with two bunk beds for the kids, and a third bedroom with a queen bed and a TV. Plenty of room to spread out and relax with some privacy. Please note, this house is not handicap accessible. It has a tall flight of stairs to get in the front door, and the driveway is a fairly steep hill. Once on the main level, though, it's easy to get around. There is an owner cabinet in the kitchen, and a small owner closet in the master bedroom. Other than those 2 spots, you will have full access to the house. Please, make yourself at home. This is our vacation home. It has all the amenities we want when we travel. However, it is unlikely you will meet us (unless something goes wrong, and you reach out so we can fix it). However, we want to be available to you. You can reach out with any issues, and Airbnb will text us. Bay City is a quiet town that hosts many full time coastal residents. There are a few restaurants, a great city park, and plenty of quiet streets for walking. Driving is easiest. Bikes on 101 are great if you’re experienced (being near speeding cars is not for the faint of heart). You’ll find many areas of the coast are easy driving trips from the house. We have a dockside crab trap you can use (you need a shellfish license to go crabbing). There is also a large garage, where you are welcome to park. There are 2 stalls, and the large one is much longer than our F150 pickup. If you bring a boat to the beach for crabbing, please park it in the garage... It will take some skillful parking with the driveway hill, and the deck posts in driveway. But, it's much safer than leaving all the equipment out.
