Summersville Lake is a 20-miles from this property with many adventures to offer. Adventures on the Gorge (AOTG) is 2 miles from the main campus. AOTG features great whitewater rafting, ziplining, paddle boating, restaurants, shops and much more. To add a little balance to your vacation, visit the “Coolest Town in WV”, Fayetteville has much to offer. There are many local restaurants such as the infamous Secret Sandwich Society, Pies and Pints and brunch at the Cathedral Café (enjoy the mimosa). This amazing town host the "old time" Ben Franklin Store, where you will always find a treasure. There are local breweries that are a must if you like craft beer. Other sites to check out are the quaint speciality shops, ice cream shop, local art and music (The Grove) and Escape Room. On specific days you will see local Farmers Markets where you can get salt rising bread, fresh eggs, pies and produce. Feel free to walk through the woods. On back side of the property you will find Canyon Rim Trail. In the middle there is a natural spring, bring a jug but don't leave it :-) No parties or events allowed.
