This newly renovated, meticulously clean Victorian home is walking distance to downtown restaurants and events, and stone's throw to hiking destinations, Skydive Chicago, and a quick pedal to the I&M canal trail. The kitchen is very well appointed, and there is off street parking. The house is professionally cleaned and sanitized between each group. Pet and child friendly, with amenities for each. We have created this space with the guest in mind at every turn. The home is a gorgeous old Victorian style dwelling, with many unique details preserved. We are in the process of renovating the entire property to be a truly luxurious and family friendly space. I am an avid traveler and home chef, and this property is designed with that in mind. This is the first unit in what will become a three unit property, with a gorgeous outdoor living space to be added in the late spring/early summer of 2021. While our doorways do not allow us to be completely ADA compliant, the whole unit is designed to be friendly to those with mobility concerns. We are child and pet friendly and have tried to add as many amenities as possible to limit the amount of extra stuff you have to travel with. We also have an exceptional cleaning crew who makes sure every detail is perfect between stays, and that everything surface is sanitized as well. As a nurse, I take the health and safety of my guests very seriously. Guests have the entire indoor space to yourself along with a private entrance, and share the outdoor common area. We have broken the large outdoor space into several spaces, so there should always be plenty of privacy. I'm always available by in app messaging or phone. There is also a caretaker who lives on the property in a private residence. This property is very walkable to downtown Ottawa attractions. It does border an active train tack, so some noise is to be expected, but lots of people love seeing the short freight trains a few times throughout the day. This property borders an active train track. The trains tend to be only a few cars long and there is no set schedule, so occasional trains during normal sleeping hours are to be expected.
