Welcome to Miner's Daughter. My father worked in the coal mines here in Tucker County - hence the name.Our home is located 2 streets up from front street Thomas. Our space is open with 1 full sized bed downstairs that will sleep 2. There is a loft space via ladder to 2 twin beds. 1 Bathroom with walk-in shower. Small kitchen space for guests to make own meals if they wish. Loveseat and chair in living room area. No TV. Deck on the front and also back space of the home. Miner's Daughter is walking distance to Front street Thomas. (2 streets up from Purple Fiddle) Enjoy music, shopping/Antiques,art galleries, eateries, Tip Top Coffee Shop/pastries. Enjoy strolling through town or walking along the Railroad grade to Douglas Falls. Enjoy Mountain Biking,Hiking,Kyaking,Skiing,Snowshoeing, fishing,golfing, or just take in the peace and quiet of the town. Our home is located just below one of of other rentals Mountain Koru (on same property) if traveling together with small group both spaces could be rented Our home space includes decks front and back text/call (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) quiet/quaint neighborhood enjoy the outdoors- you'll love it here everyone seems/feels like a local walking front street as sometimes parking is tough to find on busy times- travel is best by vehicle to other areas Davis is 3 miles away Canaan Valley 12 miles away Seneca Rocks 45 minutes away Deep creek lake 45 minutes away must climb steps on deck to inside- loft ladder is steep and small space key code will be given prior to arrival parking across the street from house there is no television Do Not allow pets we do not provide fire wood for pit feel free to purchase from fire wood hut in Thomas($5/bundle) or BFS in Davis * we try to provide basics please keep in mind if you use all of something please replace for the next guest to enjoy also
